Weekend Friends

Wait a sec... wasn't that the guy that asked about what happens if we didn't get our dorm keys? I'm pretty sure that's them, but I'm very tired right now and I'll just sleep.

The next day

As soon as I woke up I got myself ready, you know the usual things that people do. Take a bath, wash my face, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, wear clean clothes. When I opened the door I saw the guy with the half plushie face.

"Hey!" I shouted

"Hm?" The guy answered

"You uh... you wanna be friends?" I hesitantly asked. I mean this is the first ever interaction I had with a fellow student. What if they think I'm a weirdo for just wanting to be friends? I don't know if they're cool with it, I don't know if-

"Sure." The guy replied

...  I was not expecting that.

"Ok!" I said. You know when the person stutters when they're surprised or anxious? Yeah, that's what I sound like here. Usually I'm the confident type, but right now it just feels awkward for me.

"You wanna go get some breakfast at Waffles' Breakfast Blast?" he answered

"Sure! But before that what's your name and nation?" I asked

"Right... My name is Blue Inugami, my nation is the Hybrid community" He answered

"You?" Blue asked

"Oh, I'm Daigon Monokuro, I am from the Spirit Clan." I answered

We were walking down the stairs and he suddenly asks.

"So what type of spirit are you?" Blue asked

"I'm a spirit of hell" I answered

"So my guess was right." Blue said

"Well, what type of hybrid are you?" I questioned

"Half land spirit, half monster." Blue answered

"I thought it'd be obvious since my last name is a Japanese folklore." He answered

"I do not know much about folklore." I said.

"Well now you know one." Blue answered sarcastically.

"Haha very funny, Blue." I answered sarcastically as well.

When we finally got out of the dorms, Blue told me to follow him since he knew where it was. The place was pretty cozy-looking and when I went inside the place is actually very cozy. There was a spot where you can hook up with the store's wi-fi, and there were bean bags there as well, and some game consoles too with cartridges and game CDs. There was also a playground which was kinda cool. Then I remembered something.

"Hey Blue... I don't have any money." I said sheepishly

"Don't worry this one's on me for today." He answered back

That was the first time someone has given me free food, if you exclude my mom.

"Well? What do you want to eat, I'm starving over here." He said

"I guess I'll take the Waffle Specialty." I answered back

"Hey Waffles!" Blue shouted

"Yes Blue?" Waffles said. If you're thinking waffles is a granny, she's not she's like 17 years old.

"Where's Vanquish? I thought he was cashier today?" Blue responded

"He's sick today I'm asking Erika to come by, she must be asleep still can you call her?" she said back
