The Tradition Starts

Present day

Hi, I am Daigon Monokuro. You'll probably confused right now, but all you need to know for now is that I am currently 16 years old and that I'm part of the Spirit Clan. I myself, is part of the Spirits of Hell, although I really wished that I was a part of the Land Spirits and that I was a Water Soul so I can blast people with water for fun. Anyways, our old king was about to step down meaning that the tradition is going to start again. I'll probably not land a spot at Gaia Academy but eh, worth a shot I guess.

As I went out of my room my mom greeted me.

"Sweetie, are you excited? You might become the ruler!" my mom said

"Yeah, but I'm most definitely won't be the ruler though." I replied

I went to the kitchen grabbed my apple and went out with my mom to go to the Gaia Island. If my mom's power wasn't portal summoning we would've been going there a week ago since we had to take a boat to get there. So I was lucky enough to just be at my house until the day has arrived. So I kind of considered myself lucky (Even though I wanted to go through the Wispy Willows which was a very beautiful place), when we arrived there a lot of people were there and I'm talking at least a billion 12-18 year old looking people. Yeah, I don't think I'm that lucky to land a spot in Gaia academy, there were only 900 slots so I'm highly sure that the odds are against me on this.

"1 ɱσɾҽ ԋσυɾ υɳƚιʅ Gαια Dҽʅҽƈƚυʂ ʂƚαɾƚʂ" the Enigma said

I thought to myself "Dang 1 more hour? Might as well play with solve Glevous Cube while I wait."

While I was trying to solve my cube I always wondered how people solve this horrendous puzzle in under 1 minute. Heck even 7 seconds, how the heck do you guys solve it that fast? After being finally able to solve it a quarter of the way, the timer was done.

"Tιɱҽ ιʂ υρ! Aɳყσɳҽ ɯԋσ αɾҽ ɳσƚ ɯιƚԋιɳ ƚԋιʂ 5 ƙιʅσɱҽƚҽɾ ɾαԃιυʂ ɯιʅʅ ɳσƚ Ⴆҽ ƈσυɳƚҽԃ αʂ ραɾƚιƈιραƚισɳ ƚσ ƚԋҽ ҽʋҽɳƚ." the Enigma announced. "Nσɯ, I ɯιʅʅ Ⴆҽ ʂҽραɾαƚιɳɠ ƚԋҽ ραɾҽɳƚʂ σɾ ɠυαɾԃιαɳʂ ϝɾσɱ ƚԋҽ ƙιԃʂ. Iϝ ყσυ αɾҽ α ραɾҽɳƚ σɾ ɠυαɾԃιαɳ ყσυ ɯιʅʅ ɾҽƈҽιʋҽ α ρυɾρʅҽ Ⴆɾαƈҽʅҽƚ, αɳԃ ιϝ ყσυ αɾҽ α ƙιԃ σɾ α ƚҽҽɳαɠҽɾ ყσυ ɯιʅʅ ɾҽƈҽιʋҽ α ყҽʅʅσɯ Ⴆɾαƈҽʅҽƚ." the enigma said. "I ɯιʅʅ ɳσɯ ʂƚαɾƚ ƚσ ɾαɳԃσɱʅყ ƈԋσσʂҽ ρҽσρʅҽ, ƚԋҽ 900 ρҽσρʅҽ ɯԋσ I ɯιʅʅ ɯαɳƚ ƚσ Ⴆҽ αƚƚҽɳԃιɳɠ Gαια αƈαԃҽɱყ."

One by one people start to float above everyone in a sphere-shaped aura. After seeing people quite near me get picked I kinda knew for sure I wasn't going to get picked, but then I looked down and noticed that I was starting to float away and I was trying to comprehend what happened and finally realized that I was going to Gaia academy. I mean me? Out of every single one that wasn't chosen I bet that they would be able to kick my ass, and then when I looked down on the crowd I could see my mom jumping up and down with her mouth open and she was probably screaming that I got picked. Very embarrassing... well that's what mothers are for.

"I ɳσɯ ԋαʋҽ ƈԋσʂҽɳ αʅʅ 900 ʂƚυԃҽɳƚʂ, ყσυ ɱαყ ɳσɯ ʂαყ ყσυɾ ϝαɾҽɯҽʅʅʂ." The Enigma stated.

Me and our parents and guardians we're teleported into a separate dome and the dome where we were in vanished.

"I told you, you were going to get picked." My mom said.

"Well you were right about that." I reluctantly said.

"Well, goodbye my sweet child." My mom said as she hugged me.

"Bye mom." I said while she was squishing me.

When everyone said their farewells, the dome split in half and in the half where the parents and guardians are disappeared while the other half of the dome slowly shrunk and was slowly turning into a dome shape. The dome levitated and the ground beneath us was carried along with us, and we were going up and up and was now in space. We arrived at our destination and was amazed at how beautiful the school was.
