"Kyouka..." Tokoyami paused, looking down at the sheet of paper. "All the lyrics you thought of turns the song into a cheesy one." He sighed over the phone, erasing a lyric that was way too sappy for their original idea.
"I know, I'm a mess," A groan from Kyouka was audible over the phone, her head lightly hitting the desk. "I'm out of my burnt-out funk and I decide," her tone dripping with sarcasm, "Hey let me write about my huge crush on Momo Yaoyorozu for the whole fucking world to see."
Tokoyami thought nothing of Kyouka's sarcasm as that wasn't anything unusual. He merely nodded despite knowing Kyouka wouldn't be able to see him. "I mean," Tokoyami paused, searching for something to say, "at least the lyrics are good ones?"
"Yeah, thanks, it's just hard to not think about her when I'm writing," Kyouka admitted. She grabbed one of her spare pillows and buried it into her face as she felt a brush rise.
"How come?" He questioned.
"She's just a big piece of my inspiration honestly," Kyouka's tone was soft, despite it being muffled by the pillow.
"Kyouka I'm happy that you found someone," Tokoyami said, his usual emotionless tone following, "But I seriously don't want to impose on," he hesitated, "whatever you two are."
