Chapter 6

"Let's go meet some of the other kits, Heatherkit!" Rosekit said. "We can get away from our Clan until it's time to compete!"
"Fine, but can we bring Frostkit and Cloudkit with us?"
"No! I want to get away from our Clan for awhile!" she exclaimed.
"Well, then I'm not going with you." Heatherkit said, walking towards Cloudkit and Frostkit.
"Hi Heatherkit!" Cloudkit said, giving a yawn.
"Why are you tired already?" Heatherkit asked.
"He's tired because he bounced the entire way here." Frostkit said.
"Oh, well, do you want to go socialize with the other kits?"
"Yes!" Cloudkit said, jumping to his feet.
"Sure!" Frostkit said, smiling. "But what about Rosekit?"
"Oh, she wants to explore without the Clan around her."
"And you let her!" Frostkit said, worried.
"She wouldn't let me bring you two with us, we wanted to socialize with other Clans, but she only wanted to socialize with the other Clans, and me."
"Oh, that makes sense." Frostkit said.
"Yeah, lets go!" Heatherkit said, running ahead of the others.
Frostkit and Cloudkit follow.
Frostkit eventually runs into a ginger she cat, with black paws.
"Hey watch where you're going runt!" she exclaimed.
"Oh, sorry. I just wanted to find kits from other Clans, and socialize with them before we compete against one another. What's your name? " Frostkit asked.
"My name is Mindkit. What are your names?" she asked.
"I'm Frostkit, this is my brother, Cloudkit, and this is our Clanmate, Heatherkit."
"Cool names! What Clan are you from?"
"ThunderClan, what Clan are you from?" Heatherkit asked.
"I'm from ShadowClan." Mindkit said, smiling.
"ShadowClan?" Frostkit asked.
"Yep, I'm from ShadowClan. I'm Dawncloud's only kit. I wish I had siblings, like you do, or at least denmates that include me in their games." Mindkit said, shuffling her paws.
"I know how you feel..." Frostkit said, sadly.
"You do, how?" she asked looking at him.
"I'm not always included with the games, Rosekit, doesn't like me."
"She does like you, she just doesn't want to show it yet." Heatherkit said.
"Why?" he asked curiously.
"She doesn't like some of the games that you and your brother come up with."
"You don't have to hide it! I know why she doesn't like me, she doesn't like me because I'm a kittypet!" he exclaimed, running away from the Gathering.
Bluestar walks to where she first addressed the Clans. "Let the games..."
"Frostkit wait!" Mindkit said, running after the tom.
"Frostkit!" Heatherkit screamed, running after him.
Cloudkit runs over to Rosekit. "Look at what you caused!"
"What do you mean by caused, Cloudkit?" she asked.
"Frostkit just ran away from the Gathering!" he said, running after his brother.
"Whatever." Rosekit said, turning back to the kits she was talking to, Dawnkit, Rockkit, Twistedkit, Sunkit, and Applekit.
