Okay, let me start off by saying I was not expecting such a good response to this book, and I'm glad to know that people have enjoyed it. Also, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting so long! Also, a little shout out to Killer_hell, I know you didn't ask for one, but I just want to say thank you for your confusing compliments and encouragement in the comment section of the previous chapter. Without further ado, lets get started.

Breathless, and with blush dusting  his cheeks beneath his twilight feathers, Daffy finally pulled away from his roommate's lips, chocolate eyes twinkling with adoration. Bugs looked at him, a small smile gracing his face.
"So..." The Duck lisped. Raising an eyebrow, the grey rabbit responded, "so...?"
"Are we a couple now?" He asked as the two of them perched on the edge of Bugs' bed, staring at one another.
The bunny considered this momentarily, lifting a gloved hand to his chin.
"I guess we haven't really made it official," Bugs said, his small, pink nose twitching slightly as he spoke.
"Thatsth true," The Duck replied, his speech impediment heavily effecting his sentence.
The grey-furred mammal shrugged nonchalantly and without so much as a stutter asked "Daf, do you wanna be my boyfriend?"
Daffy looked at him incredulously,
"Bugsth." He began, looking lovingly into the crystal, blue orbs that were his best friend's eyes.
"I think we've esthstablisthed that I definitely do want to be your boyfriend," He responded, a grin lifting at his beak.
"Good, so it's official?" Bugs asked, for once, he was at a loss for words.
"Well itsth not like there's a document that we can sign," joked the duck, his heart glowing when the rabbit chuckled at his comment.
"Should we... tell people?" The bunny murmured into the silence of the room. Daffy's smile slowly slid off of his face,
"Why wouldn't tell people?" He asked suspiciously. The rabbit shifted his gaze slightly, his perfect posture slumping.
"Well Daff, me and you being together, it's not really seen as normal, is it..." He told his boyfriend, who frowned at the statement.
"Normal?" He questioned, his brow creasing,
Bugs grasped Daffy's hand to reassure him,
"What I mean is, you don't see many samesex couples, it's usually a man and a woman, and I just think we should wait a little while before telling people, I'd be happy to go out on dates with you, and do all the things that a couple usually does, we can let people arrive at their own conclusions for now, but we should keep this to ourselves," Bugs told him, giving his wing a comforting squeeze to punctuate his sentence. Daffy pulled his hand away, anger written on his face.
"Are you saying that it's not normal for me to love you?" His voice caught in his throat with raw emotion. Bugs shook his head feverently,
"No, that's not what I meant at all-"
"Then what did you mean? That because we're both men, that we aren't allowed to love eachother?"  Daffy exclaimed, cutting off Bugs, mid-sentence.
"Daffy! I'm trying to protect you!" Bugs yelled, losing his temper temporarily. The two of them had long since stood up and were glaring at eachother, their faces inches from one another's. "Protect me from what?" The Duck hissed through gritted teeth.
"From judgement Daf! From insults, from being humiliated! From being physically attacked just for being who you are!" Bugs wailed, pleadingly. Daffy's surly expression melted off his face as his boyfriend's words sunk in,
"You really think all of that will happen?" He asked quietly.
"Honestly? I don't know..." the bunny confessed, his usually upright velvety ears falling flat against his head.
"But you know everything!" Protested the dark feathered creature.
"No, I don't, Daffy, truthfully, we can't know how people will react, but I can tell you is that I want to keep you safe, Daf, and at the moment, I think that staying discreet is the best option so far," He told his boyfriend earnestly.
"Alright, if thatsth what you want Bugsth," Daffy sighed, looking up at him.
"Thanks for understanding," the bunny whispered.
"You're not... asthshamed of being with me, right?" The bird said hesitantly.
Bugs looked at him, appalled at the question. A look of determination passed across his face and he grabbed the feathered shoulders of his partner and pulled him into an embrace before pressing his lips against the Duck's beak, he ran his gloved fingers through Daffy's feathers, and then brushed a finger across his cheek. The Duck, did likewise, his skin, which luckily for his sake was hidden, was flushing scarlet.
The rabbit finally pulled away and locked eye contact with his roommate.
"Does that answer your question?" Bugs asked, fluttering his eyelashes and grinning with his buck teeth.
"Not really, you didn't sssay anything, Bugsth," Daffy said sarcastically. The bunny rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, but smirked to himself nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure nobody believed that I owned these characters anyway but I thought I'd make it clear that I don't, and I'm sorry if me hinting at homophobia was upsetting to anyone, I am very aware that it is a real and serious issue. Anyway, I do hope that this was to your satisfaction, PEACE OUT, MY DUDES AND DUDINAS! (I literally just made that up, what on earth is a dudina? One would assume that it is the female equivalent of a dude? I don't even know, I think you guys should count yourself lucky that you're not living in my head rent free. I'm going to stop rambling, it's unbecoming.  Sorry! I'll shut up now! I hope you enjoyed despite how weird I am!
