"Why are you so angry? All I did was win a game of chess, Daffy!"

" It's more than the game! Why do you have to beat me in every single way! Why can't you just let me have something!"

"What are you talking about?! I don't beat you in every single way!"

"Yes you do! You're more popular than me, you're smarter than me, you're more talented than me, you're richer than me, you're more successful than me and what really annoys me is that you pretend to be modest and act like you don't know how successful you are! And I'm sick of it! Why do I have to live in your shadow? WHY ARE YOU SO PERFECT?!"

Bugs looked at him, his icy, blue eyes welling up with tears.
"I'm... I'm not perfect Daffy" he whimpered softly, before running up the stairs and closing his bedroom door.

Daffy sighed  did I go too far?
He thought. No! But why did he get so upset? I didn't mean to make him cry ... I should go upstairs and check on him.
Daffy groaned in annoyance and started ascending the stairs. He walked towards Bugs' bedroom and listened in through the door. He could hear soft crying...
He very carefully swung open the door to see Bugs sat on the edge of his bed looking down at the floor and rubbing his eyes furiously.
"Bugs?" Daffy asked leaning against the door.
Bugs looked up in alarm.
"D-Daffy... wh-what are you d-do-doing in here, leave me alone  please..." Bugs begged tearfully.
Daffy shook his head and sat down next to him on the bed.
"Look, I'm sorry okay?" Daffy muttered forcefully, he turned to look at Bugs' whose fur was ruffled and wet with tears.
"No... you were right Daffy... I'm so cocky and arrogant..." murmured Bugs , rubbing his temples in frustration.
"Bugs no! I didn't mean it-" Daffy was cut off by Bugs,
"No Daffy! You did mean it and you're right! But you were wrong about one thing! I'm NOT perfect... I hate myself... " Bugs left the room without another word, leaving Daffy sitting on the bed in silence and confusion...

"Oh great ..." Daffy grunted. Daffy poked his head around the door frame before closing the door and beginning to rummage through Bugs' drawers. He grabbed a small red book labelled Diary " Bingo..." Daffy grinned opening it.

Dear Diary,
Lola broke up with me today, because apparently I haven't been giving her enough attention lately, I'm pretty relieved though she's attractive but incredibly insane, I mean I like crazy people but she's a bit too crazy, Daffy's crazy but he's a nice crazy ... I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about him and I need to get him out of my head before he notices.
                  Bugs Bunny

Daffy snapped the book shut hastily as he felt his cheeks grow hotter. Does Bugs like-like me? I mean I feel something towards him... I'm not sure if it's love but...
Daffy ran downstairs towards Bugs and smacked a novel out of his gloved hands.
"What the- Daffy give it back..." murmured Bugs.
Daffy raised the book above his head before replying.
"When were you going to tell me that you and Lola broke up?!" The duck demanded with one hand on his hip.
"I wasn't and how do you know that...?" Asked the rabbit suspiciously.

"Well I uh..."
