Chapter 3

RECAP:

"Scream and I will kill you." Then a feel a gun pointed at my head.

Drew's POV:

I jumped in my car excited to go see Michelle. We haven't hung out in a while and I was starting to miss my best friend!

(A/N No, Drew does NOT like Michelle)

I turned on the radio and Everybody Talks by Neon Trees came on right at the chorus, my favorite part.

'It started with a whisper,

And that was when I kissed her,

And then she made my lips hurt,

I can hear the chit chat,

When everybody talks bad.'

I was pulling up to Michelle's house when I saw somebody in the door way with her in a choke hold and a gun pointed to her head.

I completely froze. I didn't know what to do. I kept on driving by so the guy wouldn't see me. I turned the car around just in time to see them walking towards his car.

I stopped about a block away and watched.

Michelle mouthed the words 'Help'. She saw me! She nodded her head a little towards the house along with her eyes looking at the front door. I nodded my head.

I knew exactly what she meant. Because we have been best friends forever, I could know exactly what she was talking about when she made no sense.

She stomped her leg 5 times on the ground. She meant wait 5 minutes until they were gone and then find them. It's a good thing we made up that secret language last year.

When they were at the stop sign, I ran inside as fast as I could. I found what she meant on the table in the living room.

It was some book.

(A/N The 'book' is NOT exactly like Michelle's life, but they are very similar.)

'I was on the phone with my bestfriend whenever I heard a knock on the door. I opened it expecting to see my parents, but there, standing in my doorway, was not my parents. He drug me oh to his car and'

That's where it ends. There's no more words. Just the rest blank. The next page was blank too. Before I closed the book, something caught my eye. It was a note.

"Drew, I'm sorry if its hard to read this note. If your seeing this, I've been kidnapped. This book has the answers. Take it and it will help you find me. I heard him talking about where we were going next while he was on the phone. He said we were going to St. Mary's hospital. He said something about 5other guys he needs. Please hurry."

I practically fainted right then and there.

I ran out the door and into my car.

I typed in my GPS 'St. Mary's Hospital' and followed the directions from there.

*Liam's POV* ( oooooohhhh(: your welcome )

*BEEP*

What the heck?

*BEEP*

What is that noise?

*BEEP*

OMG SHU--

*BEEP*

I open my eyes ready to hit someone or break whatever is making the noise.

Sit up really fast and have excruciating pain in my neck.

"OW!" I yelled.

"Liam?" My mum looked up from her book and ran over to me. "Are you okay sweetie?"

"Yeah Mum, my neck just hurts a little." I said lieing. It hurt bad.

"I'll go get the doctor." She said and hurried out of the room.

A couple minutes later a doctor walked in with my mum.

"Hello Mr. Payne. How are you feeling?" He asked examining my neck.

"My neck just hurts, and I have a bloody headache." I said rubbing my neck.

"Well, it hurts because you have a concussion. It's not anything serious, you just need to rest for a couple of days and you'll feel better." He said reassuringly, then walked out.

"Mum, will you explain what happened and why I'm here?" I asked her.

"Well Liam, you see, you were in a wreck with the other lads. They're all fine, nothing serious. Just a couple scratches and bruises. You probably got the worst since you were in the passenger. Since Louis was driving, he got glass stuck in his forehead. They pulled it out and stitched it up before he woke up so he's okay." My mum said explains everything.

"Where's sis?" I said all of a sudden said remembering my long lost sister my mum explained to me about over the phone earlier today.

"Oh, she's at home waiting for us to come back. We left her a no--" My mums phone started ringing and I let her answer.

"Hello?" She asked into the phone.

Silence...

She dropped the phone on the ground.

"Mum?" I asked getting more scared by the second.

"It's your sister. She's been kidnapped." She said as we eyes started watering up.

"WHAT?!" I screamed and practically shot out of bed, but layer down again because y neck started to hurt again.

Oh no.

What?! I just found out about her and now she's... Gone?

No.

This can't be happening.

Before I could say anything else to my crying mum, darkness enveloped me into a deep sleep.
