My anger had continued to boil over from my brother's murder. If these puny humans are going to take my family, I will take some of the people they care about. But this fight did not go well for me. In front of the whole town, they chased me up Sentinel Hill and shouted a few words from some old book which called up a swarm of thunder clouds. I then called out to my father Yog- Sothoth.
"FATHER ...... FATHER PLEASE HELP ME."
"Father please."
He did not answer my pleas for help. Suddenly, I heard a loud crack and saw a bolt of lighting streaking toward me in a bright flash.
In that bright flash of lightning, I had accepted my death. My grandfather, brother, mother, and finally my father had abandoned me, despite my pleas. I had finally become what I had feared: Abandoned, scared, and alone. An orphan. I had accepted my death. I had nobody.
