- Ashton's POV -

God, I miss  Darcy so freaking much. She's hanging out with her friends, and I'm over here, looking at her room's ceiling. We've been dating since my ninth grade. Oh God, in two months, it's our third anniversary.

She doesn't talk that much about School though. It was her father's idea to bring me here, I really got tired of having to face my drunk  sister everyday.

"How's life going Ash?" Jason, Darcy's brother asks me.

"Annabell  has been acting crazy." I mutter.

I and him were like brother. He's just a year older.

"Everyone gets down sometimes." He says.

"Yeah." I say, looking at my phone.

I decide to text Darcy,

Me: Hey, wrud?

I hope she answers soon.

"Man, what the heck is wrong with that woman?" I hear Jason muttering after looking at his phone.

"What?" I ask, not understanding what's happening.

"Emily, a girl in med school, is so fucking clingy."

"Well, leave her alone then. I'm pretty sure you use your skills on each girl in Med school." I smirk at him.

"Dude, she's not that bad." He mummbles.

"The player is falling." I start laughing.

- The next Day -

I wake up in an empty bed, in Darcy's room. She still hasn't replied to my text, I hope she's okay. I'm kind of sick, that's' what a 14 hour in an Airplane can do. I really have to get prepared for this interview.

I get downstairs, nobody. I see a note on the fridge.

Hello Ashton,

By the time you're awake, Mom would be at the grocery shop, Dad in Mr. Hamilton's house (exactly near the house), and I would be at Emily's. Darcy is normally coming back at 1 PM.

Jason.

I look at the time, 12:30. 30 minutes?! That's a lot.

I decide to look at my phone, a lot of text messages are over here.

67 Messages from 3 conversations.

Dem People:

Sarah: Guys, is Mrs. Carlson sick again?

Eveline: That's the only thing you think about?

Ethan: Of course, she's annoying as fuck.

This conversation is way too long, it's all about teachers.

Dad: Hello son, I hope you're okay in England.

My dad was upset that my sister couldn't even solve her problems without using alcohol.

My sister was a happy person, she used to have a husband, a job, a perfect life; you can say. One day her husband decides to throw divorce at her face, divorce isn't free.

That divorce case has done a lot in her life. It got her broke, she lost all her money. She stopped going to work so she got fired. And her she is, financial problems, jobless and alcoholic.

The Williams were one of the most supportive families towards us, they helped us in a lot of situations. Darcy tried her best to help my sister but she failed. I started flirting with her around the last months of eighth grade and she used to flirt as well, I wasn't the only one that flirted.
