Chapter 4: Mechanic?

Foxy was utterly confused and thought he heard her wrong. So he asked, "Lass did ye just say that your goin' to fix me?" Jewel looked up from the maintenance tablet and replied, "Yes. I hate seeing you in disrepair. You made me so happy as a kid." She didn't pay attention to how she was saying things she just needed to get her point across. He just stared at the Night Gard in front of him dumbfounded. In all honesty, Foxy never thought he would be fixed. She looks back down at the tablet and then back at Foxy and says, "Ah there are some things I can fix right now and the rest later when I get the supplies." She puts the maintenance tablet away. Then she makes her way back to the office and finally comes back with a box of tools. She pulls out a soldering iron and a screwdriver. She walks up to Foxy and asks, "I need to get into your back maintenance panel first." Foxy just nodes his head and Jewel moves to his back. She starts by removing the two screws that held the maintenance panel in place. After she removes those she opens up the maintenance panel to see a split wire. This was the wire that controlled the jaw mechanism on the animatronics. It seems someone has cut Foxy's wire. She takes a soldering iron and begins to work and fix the wire. After she was done she moved to Foxy's jaw which was slightly dislocated and began to work on his jaw joint. This was all she could do for now until she got the material she needed to fix the rest of him. After she was finished she asked, "How's that Foxy?" He moves his jaw a bit and says, "That be much better thank ye, lass." Jewel smiled and went and put her tools away. Looking at the time it was now 3:30 a.m.

Freddy opened up his eyes on stage. His eyes darted about the room until they landed on Foxy and Bonnie. They were just chatting in front of Pirate's Cove. Freddy stared at the clock and he knew who was there and what they were supposed to be doing. Freddy stepped off the stage and headed over to Bonnie and Foxy. He asks, "Why are you not going after the new Night Guard?" Foxy looks at Freddy and explains, "You see Captain, the lass is not an ordinary Night Guard She wants to fix me. She has already done repairs. Look." As Foxy shows Freddy his jaw. Freddy then asks, "What is her name." Foxy replies, "Her name be Jewel." Freddy's eyes widen and he goes to a different side of the Pizzeria.

Soon, Freddy found himself by the bathrooms. He leans up against the wall and sinks down sitting on the ground. His brother's words ring through his head, "Don't kill Jewel." At the time he did not understand what his brother meant but now he does somewhat. This Night Guard is not allowed to die. Freddy's ears twitch at the slightest sound of metal footsteps coming towards him. It looks in the direction of the footsteps only to see Chica. Chica made her way over to Freddy and sat down next to him. Her hand made their way to his. Their eyes meet and Freddy Smiles at Chica. They had been dating for about three years up to this point.

Bonnie watched as Freddy walked away in a random direction. Then, later sees Chica go the same way. The relationship kind of made Bonnie envious. He longed for someone for himself. Bonnie sighed in annoyance. It always annoyed him to see them in a lovey-dovey almost all the time. He had a feeling though that it wouldn't be this way too long. After a few moments, the Night Guard came back. She looked really happy and excited. Her energy was interesting to Bonnie. Then, Bonnie noticed it; the necklace with the hook that looks a lot like Foxy's. Bonnie swears he has seen it somewhere before.

After, what seemed like forever Jewel makes her way back to Pirate's Cove. Foxy sat there on his stage looking off into the distance. It was as if he was distracted by some sort of thought. Jewel let out a mischievous giggle and walked up to Foxy. She slowly tiptoed over to him being as quiet as possible before shouting boo and snapping Foxy out of his thoughts. He turned his head towards her and he had a look of confusion on his face for a moment and then he relaxed. Foxy watched as some of her hair fell into her face. Her green eyes peered from behind the small strands. Foxy's ears perked up the sound of her breathing as well as the slight sound of her beating heart for some odd reason. Foxy stood from where he sat and then turned to Jewel. For a moment he just stood there and stared at her as if admiring her. Jewel felt his gaze and soon felt heat rush to her cheeks. She too stared at Foxy. It has been so long since she just got to sit there and stare at him. Their staring contest was interrupted by Bonnie's coughing.

Suddenly, an idea came to Jewel's mind. She knew she had to test this at some point but now is as good a time as ever. She was excited about what she was going to do to Foxy. She was going to test all of Foxy's Showtime functions. She's going to test to see if his routines are working correctly as programmed still. He's been out of order for so many years that this is a possibility that they may not be working correctly. She smiles at the thought of hearing Foxy's tales of the old days as he has been programmed with. All the stories that she loved so dearly that started her draw towards Foxy.

"Hey, Foxy can we test your showtime functions?" She asks.

Foxy looks at her confused.
