You entered the house and you were right.

Shogun was aimlessly walking around like a lost child in the same room you fought Signora. It was weird yet funny to you how slightly she cares. Like nothing ever happened there.

You stepped forward, trying to get her attention by making *ahem* sounds. As soon as shogun finally looked towards your direction, you heard Ei’s voice.

“Ah it’s you, y/n. Come to me”

And everything went black for a split second. You opened your eyes. She was floating with one leg crossed and another one down in her plane of euthymia.

You smiled and waved while walking towards her “Hey! Just wanted to know how you’re doing”

“I’m feeling better. Thanks for your concern”

“I brought a special dessert too. Shall we eat together?”

“...sure”

You knew it was hard for her to accept peoples’ company after being alone for centuries.

It must’ve been so hard huh?

You sat down and brought up the red velvet cake you made a while ago. Her eyes seemed to widen as she watched you cutting her piece.

"Here for the almighty archon” you smiled and offered the piece with both hands to show your full respect. She was literally a god after all.

“Thank you y/n” her astonishing eyes were filled with joy while eating the cake and you couldn't help but stare.

"Did you make this yourself?”

"Ah yes it’s actually not that hard”

"I see...you’re a talented cook” A gentle smile was formed on her lips

"Eh haha i wouldn’t say that” you unconsciously grabbed your neck and blushed a bit.

Why am i blushing? It was just a simple compliment i could get from anyone right?What the heck is wrong with me?
Well it’s not important. Stop acting stupid.

Time went by fast. You and Ei finished the cake and had a little chit chat. You could sense it was night again.

“Well time for me to go. It was nice talking to you”

She closed her eyes and smiled “yes, you too. Rest well tonight y/n”

"See you soon.”

As soon as you said that she looked at you. Her beautiful smile faded away. Before she could reply, you went back to your world, afraid of her rejection.

She needs time. You thought.

Ei has heard these words before many times. However it never ended well. There was always a loss followed by these words. She couldn’t help but feel nostalgic and also a sharp pain in her chest.

The beautiful pink sky in her plane of euthymia slowly turned into a blackish purple.

"I shouldn’t lose control” she said while meditating again.
