* Next Friday Morning *
I woke up, actually feeling refreshed for once in my life. I got dressed and walking into the restroom, I picked up my makeup bag. I carefully it placed down on the side of the sink and looked at my reflection in the mirror.
After I had quickly applied some makeup, I ran downstairs to check the time. 25 minutes left.
"Bye Mom, bye Dad!" I cheered as I waltzed out of the door. "Wait, Nicole," my Mom replied, "Make sure to tell them today, okay?"
"Don't worry, today's the day."I had to tell them today, I really wasn't looking forward to it... But I had to. My friends had a right to know.
I remember; back to last week, when I happily glided through the front door, when my parents gave me the 'exciting' news.
I was moving.
I remember how I felt. My world crashing down around me, what about my friends? What about my schoolwork? What about me?
No, apparently I couldn't stay in my happy life because my Dad had a job promotion come up in England- so I have to give this all up so we could earn more money. Great.
As you can tell, I was definitely not impressed with this news, so I have no clue on how the girls will react.
I was distracted from my thoughts for a moment, as I realised I was just outside Michelle's house. I slowly walked upto the doorstep and took a deep breath in.
I can do this.
