The New Hero (Miraculous Ladybug Fan-Fic)

Part 10

Like I said I didn't show up for battels for months. I just went into hiding I guess, I became just a normal girl, with a normal life. I hung out with Triston and with friends, I never stopped wearing my necklace though I couldn't leave Lili like that. I still felt as if I failed.

One day I was walking home from a date and saw a little girl with a Birdet doll asking her mom were she was, I walked over to her and kneeled down to her height, "Hey, no need to cry maybe she's just taking a little brake." I said wiping tears from her eyes, "What if she's gone forever what if she hates being a hero?" I smile at her, "Don't thing about the bad what ifs think of the good what ifs. Like, what if Birdet comes back soon." I know I'm not that good at pep talks but, it made her smile. I waved goodbye to the girl and her mom and walked home with a small smile on my face. Once I get home I look up my hero name, when I did I see hundreds of pictures of fan art and things asking if I was ok. I heard a loud crash, "Perfect timing, well not that a person got ackumatized but that I could make an appearance. Anyways, Lili talons out!" I fly out the window almost falling before getting the hang of it again. I land behind the Chat, Ladybug. "Your back!" They hug onto me before we see the villain shoot into the sky, "Ready to fly guys?" I say looking around them, "Tikki/Plagg power up!" We hear behind the two chimneys they ran behind.

After a few minuets of fighting in the sky.

I heard a scream down below me and look down, right as I did the villain hits my wings knocking me down, "Fuck they broke my wings it won't unfold!" Ladybug comes and catches me right before Chat's wings get hit as he looked over to make sure we were ok, "Chat!" Ladybug yells. "Let go of me, he's more important!" I yell to Ladybug, "What!" "Let go of me!" I yell finally wiggling out of her grasp. I start to fall and see Ladybug go towards Chat, I could feel tears start but I smiled through it. I saw Triston running towards me falling, knowing already this would be the last time I saw him, even if he caught me the force would kill me still. I see him mouth something and he transformed into Firefly, god I should have known. He flew up and missed me, he missed me and just before I hit the ground I saw him dive back down.
