Glasgow Kiss

Chapter 2

The girls decided to have brunch at Christina's favorite Italian restaurant: Olive Garden. Once they have taken their seats, Cherry decided it is time to tell Christina her past, hoping that she would gain another supporter for her quest to find happiness.

"It feels good to get out and spend time with my girls!" Christina said, excitedly.

"Oh yeah, especially since we have our handsome husbands to come home to!" Denise replied, smirking.

"I am very happy for both of you." Cherry said, sadly.

"Cherry, love, what's wrong? How come you are feeling down?" Christina asked, worried.

"Christina, I have to tell you something. Denise knows, but I would rather have you hear it from me." Cherry replied.

"Okay, sweetie. Whatever you tell me, it's not going to change anything between us. We are sisters for life." Christina said, truthfully.

"Christina, this isn't easy for me to say. I was in an abusive relationship over a year ago. My ex-boyfriend was Dolph Ziggler." Cherry stated. "At first, the relationship started off wonderfully, but after I got my big promotion at my job, Dolph wasn't really thrilled about it. He verbally abused me my calling me names, accusing me of cheating on him, wanting me to quit my job. I wasn't going to take any crap from him anymore. I broke up with him, threw him out of my house, changed my number, and moved to a different state. Ever since then, I felt like giving up on love and decided to be by myself." Cherry told Christina.

"Oh my God, sweetie. Dolph Ziggler was your ex-boyfriend?!" Christina asked, shocked.

"Yes." Cherry said, disgusted.

"Last year, that prick was trying to come on to me while I was with Drew. He was trying to sabotage my relationship with him, but Drew took care of it by beating his ass and using his claymore kick." Christina said. "Drew and I know firsthand who he really is. I am so sorry you went through this with him. What I will say is, all of us will be here for you no matter what."

"That's right!" Denise replied, excited. "Besides, Christina and I got handsome men who are sexy and kick ass! They mess with us, we will attack!"

Cherry hugged them with tears in her eyes and said, "Thank you guys so much! I don't know where I would be without you!"

"You don't have to thank us, love! We love you; we got your back always!" Denise replied.

"Absolutely!" Christina said, agreeing with Denise.

"Oh, and about that scumbag, Randy did the RKO too, so he knows not to mess with all of us." Denise added.

"I am so lucky to have you all in my life!" Cherry said, happily.

"Now let's forget about that douche, a little birdie told me that you have a little crush on someone." Christina said.

"Wait, who told you?" Cherry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"One of our good friends, Christine." Christina started. "At the wedding reception, Christine was talking with Sheamus, they noticed you looking over at one of the guests. Sheamus told her that his name was Jack Jester, a Scottish professional wrestler. She came to me and Denise, told us that you were staring at him hard, but you were feeling scared to talk to him. Let's just say, you have a crush on him, right?" Christina asked.

"Well, maybe a little." Cherry said, blushing.

"Come on, girlie. You always love men with beards. Jack fits the bill pretty well." Denise replied, smirking.

"Okay, I'll admit, I do have a big crush on Jack." Cherry admitted. "I have followed his career when he worked in ICW. For him to be at the wedding was my chance to talk to him, but I chickened out because of my trauma dealing with Dolph."

"Dolph better not even dare come near you again, or else he will feel the wrath from all of us." Denise said.

"We will protect you at all costs, love. We got you!" Christina added.

"Thank you so much my loves! I am feeling better knowing you all got my back!" Cherry replied, happily.

The three girls hugged each other, ordered their food, paid for it, and went shopping for a little bit. What Cherry doesn't know is Christina called her husband Drew to find out more about Jack to see if he's still in town.

"Hey, handsome!" Christina said to Drew.

"Hello, my beautiful wife, what's up?" Drew replied.

"Baby, Denise and I have a friend who has a crush on your friend Jack." Christina started. "Is he still in town?"

"Yes, he is sweetheart. He moved here almost a year ago. What are you up to?" Drew asked.

"Is it possible for you, Sheamus and Randy to set up a date with both of them?" Christina replied. "Our girl had a horrible relationship with the scumbag we were dealing with last year."

"Dolph! She was in a relationship with him?!" Drew asked, shocked.

"Yes, she was, she left him for good, because he was verbally abusive to her." Christina said.

"Wow, he really is the definition of a scumbag." Drew said, angrily. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted him."

"I know, baby. So can you guys help us out with our girl?" Christina asked.

"Before I answer that love, Jack told us that he saw someone at the wedding with red hair. Does your friend have red hair?" Drew asked.

"Yes, she does baby, how come?" Christina replied.

"He told me that she looked beautiful, and he was going to talk to her, but she left after the reception." Drew said.

"Interesting." Christina replied.

"I know, baby. He told us he wants to see her again." Drew told her. "In other words, love, we will help her get together with Jack."

"Awesome, honey!" Christina said, happily.

"Do me a favor, love. Take a picture of your friend, text it to me and I'll show him." Drew added. "By the way, Jack loves to do Karaoke, so maybe we can set them a date at a karaoke bar together."

"Babe, that's perfect!" Christina replied. "Our friend loves karaoke!"

"Excellent! Let's get this plan in motion, beautiful." Drew said.

"Oh yes, baby! Got to go, I'll see you later, I love you!" Christina said, lovingly.

"I love you more, gorgeous!" Drew replied, huskily.

Christina hanged up her phone, asking Cherry if she can take a picture with Denise. After taking the picture, Christina sent the picture to Drew, kicking off the plan to get Cherry together with Jack. Meanwhile, Drew, Randy and Sheamus were meeting up with Jack in the karaoke bar. Christina told Denise about the plan, and she happily agreed to help. The girls told Cherry about going to a karaoke bar, and her face light up with joy. After they were done shopping, the girls were on their way to the karaoke bar. What Cherry doesn't know is that she gets to see her crush face to face sooner than anticipated.
