Five months later......
Christina and Drew were on their way to the hospital. Today's the day their baby girl is being brought into the world. Before going to the hospital, Christina's water broke, and Drew got the bag ready, texting everyone to meet them at the hospital. Her contractions were three to five minutes apart and the pain was intense. Ten minutes later, they arrived, and the nurses took Christina in right away setting her up in the labor/delivery room. The couples were in the waiting room with Drew's dad, Christina's parents, grandmother, and aunt. The doctor started the Pitocin to speed up her labor. Christina was screaming in pain, and Drew was by her side. He was kissing her head, holding her hand, helping her as much as he can. A few hours later, they gave her the epidural and it was time to start pushing.
"My God, this is it!" Christina screamed. "I'm ready to push!"
The doctor and nurses came in and assisted her with the delivery. Drew was by her side holding her hand, encouraging her to push. Twenty minutes later, they heard the baby's first cries and at last, she has arrived. Their baby has dark brown hair with Drew's beautiful blue eyes. Christina was shedding tears of joy, holding her baby girl for the first time. Drew kissed her sweaty forehead, while the doctor and nurses took the baby to measure her weight.
"Seven pounds, five ounces, twenty inches long." One of the nurses said. "Time of birth: 8:45PM. Date of birth: June 6." The other nurse recorded.
The nurse came over with the baby and gave her to Christina. Drew went out to the waiting room and told everyone their baby girl was born. They got up to congratulate him and can't wait to see their newborn baby girl. Drew came back and saw his wife cradling their baby. The nurse came in and asked for the baby's name.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre." The nurse said. "What is the baby's name?"
"Angela Isabella McIntyre." Christina replied. Drew was in tears hearing his wife name their baby after his late mother. He kissed her and kissed their baby girl. Christina gave Drew their baby to hold and he couldn't be happier. A few hours later, everyone came into her room to see the new addition to the family. Christina's family were ecstatic to see the baby, Drew's dad was shedding tears upon seeing his granddaughter. The couples were taking turns holding her.
"Oh my God, bestie! She is precious!" Denise said, holding her.
"She's one tough little cookie, just like her parents." Randy added.
"Welcome to the family, little one." Jack cooed.
"You did good, bud. Really good." Sheamus told Drew.
"We will teach you to read, write and everything in-between with different colored pens." Christine said, making everyone laugh.
"Don't forget the markers!" Cherry added.
"Also, we have another wedding to plan!" Christina said.
"And she will be a part of it, which makes this more exciting!" Christine said.
"Absolutely!" Sheamus replied.
What a wonderful, incredible journey these couples have been through together; Jack and Cherry found each other and got married, Christina and Drew have a beautiful baby girl, Denise and Randy have big plans, Sheamus and Christine are engaged to be married. Life doesn't get much better than this.
The End.
