Chapter 1 Part 4: False Hope, Deadly Reality

~All Rise for the Trail~
We all find our podium spots which was in a big circle in the trial room as Mik Taaktots who is sitting on a throne speak up. "Welcome to your first trial. Now allow me to explain the rules of the trial. Your votes will be the determine of your results at the end of the class trial. If you figure out the blackened then only they will be punished but If you pick the wrong person... I'll punish everyone besides the blackened, and they get to leave Redemption Heaven." Mik Taaktots says with us with a evil grin on there face. "So one of us actually killed Director D? How low could someone go." Kota says out loud. "That's right Kota I'm not allowed to attack or kill someone unless they break a rule, to which I would inform the rest of you If that happens." Mik Taaktots says to us when Ruby suddenly speaks up "Why is there a picture of Director D at that podium?" Ruby asked to which Mik Taaktots says "Oh I almost forgot about that. I decided to have something there so you all could remember the people who have perished in the Killing Game." Mik Taaktots says to us as we started the trial. "So where do we begin with?" Kota says to us as another voice says "How about we try and knock out some suspects that way we have a better idea on who the culprit could be." Mars says to the rest of us. We agreed to start there and this is how it went. "Well for starters Me, Speedy Catfish, and Ringmaster Raven have discovered the body first and since only innocent people can trigger the announcement that means the three of us couldn't have done this." I said to everyone to which they nodded and agreed. "*Yawns* well me and Eon were having a sleepover in Eon's room and we went to bed at around 10:45pm *yawns*" Ruby says to the others as Eon confirmed that they have in fact had a sleepover. "Well I'm not sure how much this will help but me, Dr.Hare, Binary Bard, and Captain Crawfish were in the cafeteria hanging out at around 8:34pm and we left to the dorms at around 9:30pm but we never saw anyone else enter the cafeteria." Black Widow says to us as Dr.Hare, Binary Bard, and Captain Crawfish all confirmed that was indeed correct. The rest of the others all said they were in there own dorms so we were stuck at that for alibis. "How about we talk about Director D's body. Say Anastasia didn't you examine his body during the investigation?" Speedy Catfish says to Anastasia who responded with "Yeah I have examine Director D's body and saw he did die from the stab wounds. But the cut on his head was more dry so he was indeed hit with something before he got stabbed to death." Anastasia says to me as she continues to explain what else she discovered. "In his hair/toupee I discovered some glass shards in his hair/toupee though I couldn't figure out what the item was. He did in fact have a broken wrist as well. Oh I almost forgot I did find strands of brown hair on his left pant leg. So the killer must have brown hair!" Anastasia says to the rest of us to which was right. "How could the killer have missed the hair Director D's leg?" Dr.Hare asked as I suddenly get an idea as to why. "The lint roller in his room was empty and his floor was quite clean so maybe the killer either missed it or ran out of the lint roller paper." I said to Dr.Hare who nods his head "I see that does make sense Magic Grape." Dr.Hare says to me as we decide to see who has brown hair. Those with brown hair are Binary Bard, Eon, Katrina, and Ruby/Muddy Kid. "Wait Booted Bandit what's your hair color?" I heard Katrina asking them that to which they said. "Oh it's blonde If you're not convinced here." Booted Bandit says to us as they take a piece of their own hair out from under the ski mask. "If it helps prove my innocence then I'll do what I have to do." They said to the rest of us as we continue to look at the clues. "Say has anyone else been inside of the kitchen before dinner time?" Ruby asked the rest of us. Then I remembered I was in the cafeteria hanging out with Mars for a while then he left and I made myself something to eat. I remember seeing all the knifes there at that time but maybe Katrina might know something as she joined me as we ate lunch. "I was in the cafeteria earlier. At first I was hanging out with Mars but then he had to leave. Mars hasn't set a foot into the kitchen area though. But I was in there making something for myself to eat and a few minutes later Katrina walks in to the cafeteria. She makes herself some food as we talked. Then as we both finished she took my dishes along with her own into the kitchen. But offered to do the dishes herself which I didn't think much of at the time other then her being nice." I explained to the others to which Katrina says "Yeah I'll admit what Magic Grape said was indeed true but that doesn't really mean to much." Katrina says to the others as we went through more clues. "How about the bloody pieces of the fabric in the trashcan?" I heard Speedy Catfish saying to the others. "Yar bloody fabric that could help us out a lot what did it look like." Captain Crawfish asked Speedy Catfish who described the fabric. "It was a tan piece of fabric and seemed to have been cut by something into smaller pieces I almost didn't see it until I looked in the trashcan." Speedy Catfish says to which Black Widow confirmed what he said was correct as Ringmaster Raven mentioned something. "Speaking of finding things in trashcans. I remember seeing the letter Director D was given was ripped to pieces as well in the trashcan in his room. Though I can't remember who had who's letter." Ringmaster Raven says to everyone as that's when I remember our motive and decided to see If Mik Taaktots would answer a question that I had. "Hey Mik Taaktots may I asked you a question?" I asked them to which they said "I might have a answer depending on the question what is it?" Mik Taaktots says to me as I asked them "Were we supposed to have our two truths and a lie exposed today?" I asked them to which Mik says "Why yes I was gonna reveal them at breakfast but since someone died I didn't expose everybody's two truths and a lie letters." Mik Taaktots says to me. "I understand thank you Miks." I said to them as Mik says "No problem there but the clocks ticking for you all so you better be right in the end." Mik Taaktots says as they were holding a pocket watch in front of them. "Say Magic Grape why did you ask Mik Taaktots about the motive?" Black Widow asked me to which I explained while grabbing my original journal. "Well I remembered that I wrote down who was given who's letter. So maybe that could help knock out some suspects." I said to everyone as they seemed surprised by what I said. "So that's what you were writing in the auditorium? Just thought you were writing some lame topic for a boring book idea." Kota comments as I ignored her comment as I said who had who's letter. "Okay so Director D has gotten Katrina's letter, Binary Bard has Captain Crawfish's letter, Dr.Hare has my letter, Black Widow has Director D's letter, Booted Bandit has Kota's letter, Anastasia has Dr.Hare's letter, Ringmaster Raven has Speedy Catfish's letter, Ruby has Daphne Dreadnaught's letter, Eon has Booted Bandit's letter, Speedy Catfish has Eon's letter, Mars Okunobu has Ringmaster Raven's letter, Kota has Black Widow's letter, Katrina has Anastasia's letter, I got Mars Okunobu's letter, Captain Crawfish got Binary Bard's letter, and Daphne Dreadnaught has Booted Bandit's letter." I said to everyone as we all kinda went silent for a moment before realizing that Katrina's letter was the one ripped up in Director D's dorm room trashcan. "Wait guys there's gotta be some mistake I mean why would I kill somebody." Katrina says to us trying to stay calm but was starting to panic a bit. "But why would anyone else ripped up your letter Katrina wouldn't we have went for the person who had ours?" Ruby asked Katrina who started to panic even more. "N-NO YOU'RE ALL WRONG I DIDN'T KILL HIM I'M BEING SET UP!" Katrina shouted at us completely panicking until she say something that doesn't add up. "I MEAN WHAT ABOUT MAGIC GRAPE SHE AND DIRECTOR D WERE TALKING A LOT SHE COULD BE LYING!" Katrina shouted at us but then Ringmaster Raven says "We all hung out with one another at different times it's not odd that she would be speaking to Director D or the other way around." Ringmaster Raven says to Katrina as I suddenly remembered that Director D's device was missing. "Hey I got an idea!" I said to everyone while Katrina was spreading nonsense as a last attempt. "What would that be Magic Grape?" Kota asked me which I explained while holding my own device in my hand. "I received a message from Director D this morning before breakfast. So what If the killer still has Director D's device?" I said to which Katrina suddenly freezes up. "Oh I completely forgot about his device good idea Magic Grape. Okay send a message to his device." Anastasia says to me as I opened the message app and sent a message to Director D's device. It was silent for a moment before we heard a (ding) play out. Specifically in Katrina's pocket. "Wh-what how did th-this get here." Katrina says as she holds out the device. Booted Bandit who was next to her immediately grabs it and opens it up. "Yep it's Director D's Device. You know leaving evidence on yourself Is quite risky to do especially when it can't be silenced." Booted Bandit says to everyone. "Okay then Katrina I'm going over the case one more time. If I made a mistake let me know." I said to her as I started to explain the case.

Murder of Director D Case
So this case starts to when we all were given our first motive. That was Two Truths and a Lie of somebody else. The blackened was worried about having there secret revealed so in a panic state they had to plan to kill the person with there letter. We all revealed who we had to which helped the blackened figured out who they needed to kill. They first intended to grab a mini vase from the store room hoping that would be enough for Director D to die but then the blackened had another idea. The blackened realized that he might survive the vase to the head so they decided to grab a knife from the kitchen area. I was inside the cafeteria eating some lunch when I seen the blackened. They decided to join me for lunch and wanted to make sure I never went into the kitchen. So they brought my own dishes along with their own and that's when the knife was missing. When dinner was made most likely we all assumed was dirty and was in the sink from being used for dinner. Neither me nor Ringmaster Raven even notice that a knife was missing at the time. Anyways lets fast forward to around 12:00am most likely would be when the blackened had decided to go visit Director D. When the blackened rung his doorbell Director D opens his door and sees them. The blackened was invited inside due to very little signs of struggling at the door. Director D most likely assuming the blackened just wanted to see there letter offered to let them see it but the blackened had different ideas. When Director D had turned his back thats when the blackened grabbed the mini vase they were hiding and threw it at Director D's head. Director D didn't die from the blow to the head and attempt to escape but the blackened had a backup plan. The blackened grabbed the knife they stole from the kitchen and tackled Director D to the floor and stabbed him several times. Unfortunately that was how Director D was murdered. Once the blackened knew he was dead the blackened got to work. They first grabbed a lint roller and attempt to make sure all signs of them were never in Director D's room. Though the blackened either missed the brown hair strands on Director D's pant leg or they ran out of the lint roller first. The blackened believing we all would forget who had who's letter from the motive ripped up there letter and tossed it inside of Director D's trashcan. Before the blackened had left Director D's room they stole his Device assuming that they figured that hiding it or trying to hide it was an idea they had. The blackened leaves his room and starts to clean up some evidence. They first threw away the glass shards of a vase besides the glass shards in Director D's hair. The blackened had decided to cut up there shirt realizing that it was covered in blood and knowing we have spare outfits in the closets of our dorm rooms. The blackened realized they didn't have a proper hiding place for the ripped up fabric so when the morning announcement had played they immediately ran to the cafeteria and threw the pieces of their bloody shirt in the trashcan assuming nobody will look there. The blackened still had Director D's Device on them and decided when the time was right to send me a message from his device making me leave the cafeteria. By the time I got to his room he was already dead for several hours. The blackened who had done this crime was none other than Katrina the Ultimate Wildcat!
