Ikaw Na Lang Ulit

Prologue

Bea wakes up with a smile plastered on her face. She hops off the bed feeling energized to go to training this early in the morning. There is also another reason why she is happy today.

Anniversary.

Today she and her girlfriend shall be marking a year of being together. While their relationship has a lot of hits and bumps, it didn't matter because they managed to survive. Their love was so strong that no one has succeeded in breaking them apart.

"Sis, why so excited?" Her brother asked while doing something on his laptop. Bea was about to answer when he finally remembered why, "Oh, happy anniversary!"

"Thank you, Kuya!" She beamed and finished eating her food. She comes back from the dirty kitchen after washing her dishes. "I'll go na, Kuya. Pakisabi kina Mom and Dad, tulog pa sila eh."

Bea placed her stuff inside the car and her girlfriend's gift was kept inside the trunk. She leaves their home with a huge smile on her face. Excited to go to training and more importantly, excited to celebrate her first anniversary.

"Hey, you're early today. Happy anniversary ah!" The Phenom greets Bea as soon as they met inside BEG. Sila palang dalawa ang nandoon. Alyssa checks her phone and reads a message, "Nag-text si Coach, madedelay ng isang oras ang training natin."

They both decide to fix the nets and ready the ball cart while waiting. Pagkatapos no'n ay nag-warm up ang dalawa habang nag-uusap at hinihintay ang ibang kasama.

"In love talaga siya." Ngiting saad ni Alyssa kung kaya't namula ang pisngi ni Bea.

"We went through a lot, Ate. Alam mo na kung anu-ano 'yon." Bea smiled, "One year later and still here, fighting for it."

"Hindi pa rin ba okay sa magulang niya?" Alyssa carefully asked and Bea stopped for a second.

"Not yet, all we can do is to keep fighting while praying for their approval." Bea answered and continued warming up.

"Hello!"

Bea and Alyssa looks straight to where the voice came from. They both waved at Michelle strutting her way towards them. Maaga palang at umaandar na ang kakulitan ni Michifu.

"Hoy, bakla, happy anniversary!" She greeted Bea before putting her stuff on the side of their bench.

"Thank you, Mich!" Bea said and her eyes wandered but it appears that Mich was the only one in aside from her and Alyssa.

A couple of minutes later, one by one the rest of the girls come in and all of them greeted Bea for their anniversary. Yet, she wandered around for that one person and malapit na magsimula at hindi pa ito dumarating.

She decides to send a text kaso hindi siya nakatanggap ng reply. Bea chose to hide her worry and eventually brush it off.

Nagsisimula na ang training and Coach Tai kept looking around dahil kulang sila. "Where is Morado?"

"Coach!" A voice shouted from afar. Everybody turned their heads and see her running while catching her breath. Her eyes found Bea and she stands beside her, "Sorry, I'm late."

Coach Tai nodded, "Okay." He's attention is now focused on everyone and tells them to get ready.

Jia moves and places her bag at the bench while Bea followed behind. Jia turns around and smiles before she tiptoed for a peck on the lips, "Babe, sorry na-late ako."

Bea cupped her cheeks after noticing something, "Babe, are you okay? Something happened?"

Jia sighed and held on Bea's waist, "Nothing. Happy anniversary, babe."
