After a bit more teasing and blabbering from Childe, you finally reached your school without missing out on lunch. You waved goodbye and Childe took off with Scaramouche still in his car. I wonder how ticked off he'll be when he finds out...

You walked in school, passed the front office, and headed twirls the cafeteria. It was on the other side of school which would take you about eight or ten minutes to get there, but you decided to slow down your pace a bit. You began nibbling on your thumbnail. What if Rose is at the the table we usually sit at? Oh who am I kidding, of corse she is... you slowly walked in a train of nervous and racking thoughts, your stomach churning. Suddenly, you heard someone calling your name.

"(Y/N), (Y/N)~!" You heard a cheery voice call from behind. You looked behind you and saw another one of your friends, Barbra. You smiled and pushed your thoughts away, even though your fingers were numb from shaking. "Hello (Y/N!" She said in a angel-like voice. "Are you ok? You don't look to well... have you eaten at all today?" She asked, looking at you with soft blue eyes. You smiled and waved your hand a bit. "Hey Barbra! Of corse I'm fine," you laughed. "I just didn't get much sleep last night. And I am kinda hungry..." as if on que, your stomach rumbled a bit. A deep red crossed over your whole face. Barbra just laughed in a sweet chuckle. "Haha, would you like to eat lunch with me today? Me and big sis haven't gotten to talk to you lately because of how busy you've been, so we thought we would ask you today! And we were just reconsidering earlier becuase you weren't in first period, but your here now!" She smiled. A wave of relief washed over you, and you sighed happily.

"Of corse I'll sit with you! It has been a while since we last eaten together. But, who is all going to be at the table with us?" You asked. Barbra tilted her head in thought, her pigtails waving slightly. "Hmm... today it will be me, you, big sis, Sucrose, and Rosaria on our side of the table, and on the boys side it will be Venti, Kaeya, Diluc, and Albado." She said with a smile. You returned the smile. "Ah ok, just wondering." You famished.

You and Barbra were walking along in the hallway, making light conversation on little things. About school, home, work, and things that simply interested you two. "Hehe~ don't tell big sis I told you this, ok?" She said, winking and placing a finger on her mouth. You crooked your head, dumbfounded by the sudden mysterious tone in her voice. "One time, when me and big sis were on a beach she saw a seashell that was brightly orange and blue," she started. "So we took it home and put it in her pet tortious tank. Our mother really adored it. Then one day, I went over to the tank and pulled the shell out to look at it. And I replaced it with another." You gasped in a small whisper. "Big sis went to look at the shell, and still thinks to this day that it's the origional." Barbra chuckled. "And what happned to the real one?" You asked. "I still have it~!" She whispered. You laughed at the small story and continued walking all the way to lunch.
