Days off

You opened your eyes, still thinking about small Kaeya and Diluc. Ah, they were so cute. What even happned between them to make them grow so far apart? You looked to the back of the car where Scaramouche was, and saw him curled up in a ball, like a small black cat. You smiled at the thought. Or maybe bapecuase of something else...
He had his hat over him, which covered up half of his body considering that he was in a ball, and he was sleeping peacefully. His breathing was slowed, and his face looked peaceful.
"Hey comrade..."

You looked away from Scaramouche and looked at Childe. He had a small smile on his face, but not his cheeky one. If you had know any better, you would have thought that he was looking at something that warmed his heart. That's the type of smile he had. "Sayy~ you look pretty tired and almost look like you don't wanna go to school," he whispered.
"I'm not going to school cause Zhongli is sick. Well, not sick, but he told me he was going to stay home becuase he didn't feel to good. I think that me, you, and Scaramouche could just head to Zhonhli's place real quick? To check on him, annnd we can even stay there for the day instead of going to school, if he doesn't mind us doing that."

You looked back at Scaramouche,  like a child who always looked at their parents for permission to do something. He was still asleep.
"Hmm... I don't know..." You put some thought into it. You wanted to go to school. Well, you didn't want to. But you had to. You wanted to go to school to see your friends, and you wanted to study more for your upcoming test in Social Studys. You looked back out the window in thought. "I can't, sorry Childe." You said. Childe got a small look of disappointment on his face when he heard your awnser, but he quickly smiled again.

"Ah, it's ok! I'll just drop you off at school and go to Zhongli's place." He grinned.
"What about Scaramouche?" You asked.
"... I donno."
"I think he might want to go to school."
"...Nahhh~"
You chuckled. He was going to be ticked off that Childe was going to take him somewhere besides school.

Hey, Jiji here! So again, sorry for the late update! BUT WERE BACK TO OUR ORIGINAL SCHEDULE BABYYYYY!!!!!! Anywho, ima make the next chapter fluff^^ won't affect the main story in anyway!
