Chapter 2

The sun shine so bright since morning until the noon clearly show there will be no rain through the whole day. Fluke didn't realise when he walking out his class on 5 pm, the sky turn grey.

What a bad luck. Before he can reach the bus stop, the heavy rain pouring down. Even he ran faster with a speed of light, yet he drenched from head to toe. Why must today after a tiring and hungry day?

There were two girls who together with him at the bus stop but a car stop by and pick them up. Lucky them, Fluke thought. Since he dont have any friends with car anyway. Earth? That boy scare of thunder. How can he expect Earth walking in storm with extra umbrella with him? Huh hopeless, Fluke cursed out.

Fluke check out his things, making sure everything didn't wet. Well his bag were wet but not inside. He look at his phone, 5:15 pm and put them back in his bag. He rub his hand together when the cold feeling crawling up to his skin.

Fluke took a deep breath and exhale with eyes closed.

A sudden car's honk made him jump.

"Wanna hop in?"

He can't believe his eyes.

"What?", Fluke asked again just to make sure he heard it right.

"Hop in!"

Fluke hesitate whether to hop into that car or not. Not to mention his pounding heart, it feel like his knees are going to give up any soon too.

The guy in the car honk again making Fluke awake from his thought and rush into the car. When he inside, now he feel bad that his drenching situation cause the car seat stained.

"Ohm?"

"Yes?"

"Umm. I, err you..we...i mean...between us...err we-"

"I know. We supposed not to like each other."

"Umm yeah.."

"..."

"So why did you help me?"

Fluke were waiting for the answer but didn't dare to look at Ohm's face.

" Just so"

Fluke sighed. "I dont want to owe anything from you. So tell me what can i do to repay you?"

Ohm turn his head, looking at Fluke with frown.

"I just want to help you. You dont have to do anything"

Fluke hug his body, shivering by the air conditioner hitting directly to his wet clothes. Ohm noticed and adjust the temperature. He also turn the fan to another direction away from fluke.

Fluke who also noticed the action, blushing and immediately turn his head staring at the view outside of the window.

Ohm clears his throat to break out the silences.

Fluke glance to him.

"You sending me home but you know where do you should drop me off?"

"Yeah..the dormitory building"

Fluke shocked, "How do you know?"

"Well... everyone know since you and your friends use the bus that send you to the dormitory building everyday"

"Oh...i mean, of course u know"

They went akwardly silence again.

"Umm about the seat, dont worry. I will have my uncle from the workshop to clean and dry it"

"Okay"

"..."

"But at least let me pay for it"

"Eh no need. It not a big deal. I beg my uncle wont let me pay it too"

Spoiled, Fluke thought.

"I'm not spoiled", Ohm said.

"Huh?"

"You said out aloud"

"Oh did i? Sorry."

Fluke straight up, he can feel his cheek burning up.

Please make this faster, he pray in his mind.

"Umm we arrived. Ah wait let me park closer to the entrance so you dont get wet"

Fluke swear his heart melted upon hearing that.

Ohm pull up the hand break and put both hands on the steering wheel. His fingers fiddling, trying to mutter something but nothing came out.

Fluke smiled, "Thank you. I mean it"

"Yeah. You welcome..."

"I should going."

" Yeah"

"Um ok bye Ohm"

Fluke about to open the door when Ohm call his name.

"Yes?"

"Umm...can i have your..number?"

Fluke's eyes about to pop out, "You want my number?"

Ohm nods.

"Err i dont know but ok i guess?"

"It okay of you dont want to-"

Fluke took out his phone and give them to Ohm.

"Type your number and call it"

Ohm took the phone and did what Fluke asked. They heard the incoming call ringtone and Ohm hang up.

He gave back to Fluke with a small smile. Fluke actually amused because he never saw Ohm smiling this close.

"I will go back now", as soon Fluke came out he wave him good bye. Ohm  wave him back and drive away. Fluke look at the car until it disappeared from his sight before he goes up to his room.

He put the key in because the door locked. He bet Earth watching movies with another roommate because that boy dont want to be alone during storm.

Suddenly his phone vibrate, a message pop out on his screen.

It read an unknown number but Fluke knew who it was. He unconsciously smile by that small text.

"Get home safely"
