I let out a breath I didn't know J was holding as soon as Doyle left. Emily's head dropped as I heard he sob.

"Em, the team are coming we'll be ok" I said not only trying to convince Emily but trying to convince myself.

I didn't know if the team even knew we were gone, but I had to believe that they were looking. I had to.

"You don't know that" Emily said.

"They are Emily, you know they wouldn't give up on us" I said.

"What if we don't make it out alive?" Emily whispered.

She lefted her head up, her eyes scanned over my face. I felt my heart drop.

"Don't say that please don't say that" I said.

I tilted my head up leaning it against the metal pole I was against.

"We might not Y/n" Emily said sadly.

"I don't want to think about that Em" I begged.

Emily let out a sigh and shook her head.

"I'm scared" Emily whispered, her voice breaking.

"I'm scared too" I replied forcing a tight smile.

My eyes wandered the room looking for any sort of escape, just anything. Anything at all, but there was nothing. We were stuck. Stuck with Doyle holding the key to our freedom and more importantly our lives.

"We're going to get out of this, we have to get out of this" I said.

Emily didn't reply her eyes were fixated on me.

"Y/n if we don't make it out there's something you need to know" Emily said.

I quickly cut her off not wanting to her the words that were about to spill out of her mouth. Not in this situation.

"No don't, not like this" I begged.

"Y/n-" Emily said softly.

"No please, if you sat it now its like your saying goodbye. This is not a goodbye Emily" I said.

Emily bit her lip as tears began to fall down her cheeks, giving me a light nod.

"This isn't goodbye" I said to myself.

Emily and I both stayed quiet knowing that if either one of us spoke it would be a goodbye. Which is something that I didn't want to her and I don't think Emily wanted either.

Doyle walked back in his hands stuffed into his pockets as he waltzed across the room this time making his way across to me.

"You are the one thing standing between me and my love" He said.

Ian reached down grabbing my chin harshly forcing me to look up at him. His fingernails dug into my face, sure to leave marks.

"You really think she ever loved you" I spat at him.

"After all the shit you've put her through you're delusional Doyle" I said.

Doyle pulled his hand away and slapped me across the cheek. I cursed as I felt the sting. I clenched my jaw and turned my head back up to look at him.

"You don't scare me" I said, that was a lie and he could see right through it.

"You see you're nothing to me, nothing but collateral damage" Ian said.

"Ian please" Emily Ian begged.

Ian didn't pay Emily any attention he kept his focus on me as he let her pleading become background noise.
