7: Bun meets Xi Xi

The servant screamed as the guard lashed her hand she curled up in pain she could no longer focus and soon pass out.

"Oh no no no wake her up none will have my mercy"

Soon some other servants pour water onto her immediately she jumped up conscious.

"No one will sleep no lazy servants if so I'll have your remains fed to my pet Xi Xi" he said

The servants dug deeper and faster than before.

Xi Xi was the Empress's contracted beast and it was powerful and it's only obedient to two people the emperor and the empress it didn't even bother to acknowledge the first Yanlin so people were very cautious of it.

"Hmm now that I think about it have you ever met Xi Xi Jianyu" he asked

The bun looked at him and shake still stuffing his face with the rice cake,

The guards and servants swallowed in fear as they looked at each other but reluctantly left.

"Ofcourse not Xi Xi shouldn't be punished Xi Xi didn't do anything wrong his just moody most of the time"

Ning jie defends Xi Xi.

Jianyu didn't dig into this matter anymore and just drink his tea then watch the servants as they dig for there life,

"I found it!?" A servant exclaimed

But all hope was soon lost as it turns out the needle was a grass Ning jie just nod as he saw the guards whipped him.

Jianyu turned when he heard an heavy roar that shook the whole palace ground he looked around to see a huge white lion who's coat was stained with red, blood was dripping from it's mouth as it stepped forward many cower in fear when they witnessed its presence other just faint.

"Xi Xi!?" Ning jie exclaimed

Xi Xi licked it's jaws as it looks down on the boy the air went cold and tense that everyone automatically stopped breathing, Jianyu looked deep into his eyes then smile happily.

The air that was filled with a stifling cold was now released and filled with blooming flowers, Jianyu ran up to him and hugged Xi Xi.

"Your pretty your fur would make a good coat for mother"

Even though Xi Xi intentionally came with blood all over his coat to test this little one he was bewildered to see that the little one has no hint of fear.

"A worthy one you are" Xi Xi said proudly

"Mom the pussycat can talk!"

Shock spread across the room and Xi Xi face he then glared at him with killing intent

"You dare call a great heavenly beast like myself a-"

"Xi Xi don't you dare raise your voice after my son" Ning jie said coldly

Xi Xi went silent Ning jie didn't dare threatened him when he had scared and threatened Yanlin but he dared do so because he simply raising his voice at this child,

Ning looked at him but Jianyu just hugged Xi Xi which surprised the heavenly beast

Xi Xi looked at him then laught out loud in utter delight and pride.

"But before that both of you must clean your too dirty" Ning cuts in

"Hmp it seems this was unnecessary then I shall be clean until next time"

Ning turned to the remaining conscious guards
