My thoughts
They keep going round my mind
Never leaving me be
Tightening every second
But no one can see
Slowly breaking me down
Shattering me into pieces
Maybe one day they'll leave
Or maybe they won't
They lead me into darkness
Away from light
My thoughts grow stronger
As they drag me out of sight
Death
His hand long and boney
He lends it to me
His breath cold and dead
Lingers around my presence
I take his hand
Darkness lures around me
He leads me away
Maybe somewhere uncertain
He promises happiness
Which was never mine
Promise I'll be happy
Promise I'll be fine

PoetryThis is a book of short poems that I occasionally write. They don't really have a specific type, just random emotions that I feel are portrayed here.
