Balam stares at himself in the mirror, fixing his fluff. He was going back to teaching after about two months (Azazel had thankfully gotten Balam out of trouble for dipping in the middle of the school day), and he was excited.

Iruma was going to be coming with him to school. Since he couldn't send Iruma to a normal demon school at the moment,(The demon children were more dangerous than the adults, they could hurt, or even kill Iruma), Iruma would be coming with him.

He knew he could get Kalego to probably teach Iruma, he just needed to persuade the man, and he thought a bit about sending him to the younger section of Babyls, but he did know how horrible kids were.

Balam glanced back at the young boy sleeping in his bed. He had made a bed for him, a nice little nest that Balam had struggled to make, but the boy had just wanted to sleep with him.

He sighed, staring at Iruma. He needed to wake him up. It was almost time to start heading to school. Balam walks over to him, holding out a hand to shake the boy, but stopping before he could. He didn't want to wake the young boy up, but he needed to get home dressed.

Balam gently shakes Iruma in the end, hearing the young boy mumble as he starts to wake up.

"Iruma. It's time to wake up, C'mon." The boy yawns, and Balam feels a smile appearing on his face. "Its time for school." Iruma sits up, and Balam picks up the young boy, setting him back on the bed after making it. He wipes off the boys face gently before getting him dressed, smiling.

"Thank you for the clothes." Iruma whispers, and Balam pat's him on the head with a small smile. Having Iruma around has taught him how to be less clingy to people. Iruma didnt like being touched to much and Balam had learned that over these two months.

"It's no problem. Now, I'm going to give you this. Azazel gave it to me." Balam places a collar onto Iruma, tapping the square that dangeled from it. "This is a tracking chip. It connects with me an every 15 minutes it sends out a ping for me to know where you are. If you get lost in the school, I'll be able to find you."

"W-will I get lost?"

"No no! Most likely not, but it's a just in case." Balam smiles. "And if you do get lost, I promise I'll always be able to find you. Ready to go?" Balam ignores the feeling of lying as he picks Iruma up. "Your going to love Babyls. There's demons there, like me, and most of them are nice."

Balam places Iruma on his shoulder as he finishes grabbing his stuff, making a tiny Bento box for Iruma. It would be the boys breakfast. He shoves it in his book bag, taking Iruma off his shoulder before heading outside and locking the door.

"Can I sit on your back when you fly?" Balam glances down at him with a small chuckle.

"Unfortunately, you can't. I wouldn't be able to move my wings if you did." Iruma blinks at him, and Balam pulls his wings out, turning around. "When I flap my wings, they close like this, see? And when I open them, they open like this." Balam flaps his wings slowly, flinching when he feels Iruma's hand on one of them.

Nobody had touched his wings in years, and it had scared him a bit that Iruma was touching them but... He sat there and let the small boy stroke his wings, being very gentle as to not move much or move his wings.

"Oh, a feather!" Balam turns back around, seeing Iruma holding one of his feathers, and he chuckles. "Can I keep it?" Balam nods, picking up the young boy and placing him in the bookbag, letting his head poke out.

"It's so then i can hold you better. Hang on." And with that, Balam takes off.
-
He touched down at the school a little later, falling onto his ass as he trips over his own two feet.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Balam grumbles out, rubbing his back. "Just stupid." He stands up, taking Iruma out of the book bag. "We'll go to my office and get you some food. Then you'll stay by me during classes, or just... I'll find you-"

"Professor Balam!" Balam nearly jumps  a foot in the air, glad that he had placed Iruma down on the ground. "Good morning!"

"Oh, Robin! Good uh, morning. You startled me."

"Appologies! I was just excited to see you..." Robin glances at Iruma. "Why do you have a child here-"

"Oh, uh, this is..." Balam's mind blanks out, and he blinks. What did Azazel say he should say? "My-my son!! My son, Iruma." Iruma blinks, looking back at Balam before nodding rapidly, going along with the lie. His sensors were going crazy, and he took a deep breath as Robin gasped.

"You... Have a kid?!" Balam nods. "I didn't know that! Oh! Whose the mother??"

"Uhm.. This is my... Own son. He's Uhm... He's very sickly so I decided to start bringing him here." The lie became better and better as Balam continued talking. "He'll be staying with me at school for a while until I find a good school that can take care of sickly ."

Robin squeals before running over to Iruma, and Balam puts a protective arm infront of him. Iruma didn't want to be touched much today, and Balam was going to respect his wishes.

"Ah, Balam-"

"No." He says with a frown. "Don't touch." Robin nods rapidly, and Balam turns around, pushing Iruma gently twords the school.

He hoped he'd be able to get to his office before running into anyone else, and as he picked Iruma up, he heard voices down the hall. Shit...

Balam starts heading down the hall, dodging the people in the hallway and trying not to raise suspicion.

"Balam! There you are!" Not Sullivan... "Where have you been, it's been so looonnnggg!!" He turned, seeing Opera and Sullivan down the hall. Crap crap crap crap crap.

"Oh, Uh, Principal." He didn't turn around fully, just looking over his shoulder at the two. He had to refrain from shivering as Opera glared at him. "Apologies! I uh... I was just sick, I had to take two months off."

"Two months is a long time, Balam. Are you sure your okay? Is there something wrong?" Balam shakes his head no rapidly.

"No Opera-senpai." Balam says, almost automatically. He was never teased nor bullied by the cat during his time in Babyls, but he had heard from Kalego and seen what Opera could do.

Whenever Balam had been builled or beaten up his awnser had alwasy been the same. He didn't want the others to get in trouble, although Opera would always find out eventually.

The cat in question narrows his eyes, and Balam tries to keep a brave face, not wanting to give everything up.

"I was just really sick. I'm better now, and im sure my students are dying to see me, so I really should get to my office-"

"Chairdemon! Have you met Balam's son! He's so cute!!" Damnit Robin. But thanks. When Opera and Sullivan turned to look at Robin, Balam fled to his office, locking the door and putting vines infront of it as well. He sets Iruma down on his nest couch, making sure it was comfortable before handing the younger boy a book and the bento box.

"I have to get to my classroom, okay? I'll be back around lunch time to come get you, and then we'll spend the rest of the day together, alright?" Iruma nodded, and Balam messed up the younger boys hair. "Your being so good. Thank you." And with that, Balam removed the vines, and grabbed his things, leaving the room, albeit unwillingly. Hopefully he wouldn't run into Opera or Sullivan again. One meeting was enough.
