A idea that came to my mind, don't take it to serious. I just wanna write something again.

Daan was just chilling in her room when her phone went on, it was Beth calling. 'Hi girl, how was your day?', Beth ask sweet. 'Yeah training went well, very tired though, you?' 'Yeah same, good training day, when is your flight to Iceland?' 'Tomorrow night, I tought it was around six. And you going to Luxemburg on monday?', Daan ask Beth. She missed her, the last time she had seen her was with her birthday. More than a month ago, it's so weird to not see her everyday, train with her everyday en play with her every week. But it is what it is, she is happy at Lyon, but still missed Beth so much. Beth is doing great at Arsenal, she was so proud when she saw her goals at the Emirates. 'Yeah we will fly monday around four. Kick off 7:15 pm I thought.', Beth says. 'Okay we play at 7:45 pm, so that's great.', Daan told Beth while they both laugh. Again they play at almost the same time. At that moment Daan het another call on her phone, it's her mum. 'Babe, you're okay if I pick this. Haven't spoke to them today? Call you back after yeah?, Daan ask Beth. 'Yeah of course, tell them I said hi'. 'I will, love you' 'Love you'.

'Hi mum', Daan says exited when she saw her mum on the screen. 'Hi girl, how are you?' 'Good, training went well. Just called with Beth, actually right before you called.', Daan says happy. 'Nice, how is Beth doing?', her mum ask interested. 'She is happy, practice is going well and she told me Sarina is nice. She told me to say hi by the way' 'That's good to hear' 'They are playing in Luxemburg on tuesdaynight.', Daan told her mum. 'Oo really?', her mum says with a surpriced face. 'Yeah, 8:15 your time. So almost the same as me.' 'Okay, how long is the drive to Luxemburg honey? From our house?' Daan looks surprised, why would her mum wanna know this. 'Why, are you...you wanna visit the match?', Daan ask her mum while thinking about it. 'Well, I didn't have anything plannend on tuesday and wednesday, so if your dad have time. Maybe we can go to the game, if it is not that many hours in the car. Want to see Beth thought, I miss her too. You're not the only one', her mum says with a sweet smile. Daan have to smile, she knew that her mum likes Beth, but that she wanted to do this so she can see her. It makes her so happy. 'I know mum, she is the best thought' 'She is darling, so how long is the drive?', her mum asks. 'Around 2,5 hour, so that's not that far', Daan says happy. 'No that's great, I gonna ask dad. Okay if I call you tomorrow morning?, her mum asks. 'Yeah of course, shall I send a message to Sarina for two tickets? I'm sure she can fix something for me.', Daan says with a smile. She had a great relationship with her old coach and still have, so she almost know that she will try to fix tickets for her parents. 'Only if you want Daan, we can search...', her mum says. '... no I do, I can't wait to see a picture with the 3 of you.', Daan interrupt het mum. They both have to smile, 'Love you honey', her mum.

After Daan had spoken to Beth for almost two hours, about anything that happend these days. Daan had send Sarina a message. 'Hi Sarina, how are you? Great first week with the team? Here it's new, but okay, a bit weird of course. I have a question, my parents want to go to your game on tuesday to support Beth. They haven't seen her for a long time. Doe you maybe have two tickets for them? If it is to much work, it's okay. But I wanted to ask. Daan!', she thought for a moment and then push on the send button. She put her phone away and makes herself ready for a shower. When she came back she already had a message back from Sarina. 'Hi Daan, yeah it's all new, but it is great. Had to talk more English with you thought, talking it all the time is hard. Luckily Lotte en Beth are there for some Dutch chatting. Of course you can have two tickets for the game, very nice from your parents thought, that they wanted to support Beth (and me 😜). I send them tomorrow to your e-mail. Goodluck tuesday against Iceland, have to be a win! Sarina', during the time Daan was reading the message there was more and more a smile on her face. Sarina was a good one, she thought. Quickly she send everything to her mum and dad.

The next day her mum had send that they had found a hotel for the night and that she had received the email with the tickets. 'Happy we can finally see your girl tomorrow, send you al the pictures!, Daan smiled when she saw the message. Besides her happiness, there was a little tear. She wanted to bebroede to tomorrow, but it's not possible and she needed to win a game too.

Beth wakes up with a good feeling, gameday feeling of course. After breakfast, a walk around Luxemburg and lunch she had some time off. So time to speak to Daan. 'Hè girl, you're ready?', Daan said right away when she saw Beth on the screen. 'Hi, yeah ready to go again, you?' 'Yes definitely!', Daan told her. They talked some more about the games, after that it was time to say goodbye. 'Bye babe, goodluck tonight!', Beth told Daan. 'Smash it babe and enjoy the fans', Daan was looking right in her girlfriends eyes. Beth looks a bit weird about the comment of the fans, but she let it go. 'Love you!' 'Love you!' After the call it crossed Beth her mind one more time, why would she enjoy the fans, of course it is so nice they are back, but they are playing away so there wouldn't be so many England fans. We'll see, time to get ready she thought.

That night Beth walks on the field with the girls, during the national anthem she looks in the stands. There are many supporters also from England a few. Then it hits her, a women and a men are waving and smiling to Beth. 'Are that Daans parents?', Beth thought. 'That isn't possible, what are they doing here?', she can't believe it, but when she looks for a little bit longer it definitely are Daans parents. A smile formed on her face, did they drive from Holland to Luxembourg to watch my game. 'I can't believe it, this is so sweet!', then her mind goes back to the call with Daan this afternoon. So this is what she meant, she already know her parents were coming. Well let's show them I really like that they are here. She did, when she scored a goal she looked at the stand and pointed at Daans parents. She had missed them too and was happy she can finally give them both a hug after the game.

Daan had called her mum before her game. 'Hi mum, are you already at the stadium?' 'Hi darling, we are there. Look', her mum says while turning the camera. 'That's not bad, have fun and give her a big hug please!', Daan says while feeling doubtful. 'I will, the biggest. Goodluck!', her mum told her daughter. 'Thanks mum, I love you and miss you.' For Daans parents it was time to go inside, they both couldn't wait to see Beth her face when she saw them.

'Go Let's wave now, she have to see us!', Daans mum told her husband. 'Yeah I think she see us. Look', he answers. Beth her face was priceless, 'I think she can't believe we are here', Daans mum says. 'I think so too, let's see what she wanna show us', Daans dad says when the match begin.

Beth scored one goal for them and after the game she made her way to the stand. 'Bethiee come here', Daans mum says happy when she was close enough. 'Guys what are you doing here?', Beth told them when she was finally in her mother in law arms. 'We wanted to see you, so we came here to support you.', Daans mum says exited. 'Yeah we missed you Beth', Daans dad told Beth honestly. Beth looked confused, still not over it yet. 'You guys drive here for me?', Beth asks. 'Yes, we did!' 'You guys are the best', Beth says while giving them another hug. They talked about the game and about the fact that they had missed each other. 'Daan knew this right, because she told me to enjoy the fans tonight. I thought why, we play in Luxembourg.', Beth says while laughing. 'Yes, she told me you were playing here and fixed two tickets by Sarina.', Daans mum says. 'Well, that's cute. I miss her!', Beth told them sad. 'We do too, come here we need to make a picture for her.' 'Leah, can you make a picture?', Beth yelled over to Leah who was signing some shirts. 'Yeah, hi guys what a surprise. How are you doing?', she says kindly to Daan her parents. 'We are good girl, and you? Captain of the lionesses, that's not bad right?', Daans mum told Leah. 'Yeah, it's going alright I think', Leah told them with the biggest smile. 'Well, come on smile', she told them. They smile for the picture. 'Wait did Daan won?', Beth says after the picture. 'They are 2-0 up, Daan scored the first one and Jackie the last one.', Daan her dad told Beth proud. 'That's great, they needed that win' 'Yes, 3 points are needed.' It was time to say goodbye to each other after some more talking. 'Goodluck girl the next matches with Arsenal, I will miss you!', Daans mum told while she almost cried. 'Come on girl keep up your good form, you are on fire for Arsenal! Can't wait to see you again.', Daan her dad told Beth proud. 'Thanks guys for coming, it meant so much to me. Will miss you, I think I see you guys at the end of the year!', Beth told them sad. 'Bye Beth' 'Bye, thanks for coming again'

After her game she directly put the picture on her Instagram story. 'These people, the best I could wish for! Thank you so much for coming tonight, I miss you already!', she had put underneath the picture, she also put some harts with it. When she was in her hotel she called Daan. 'Hee babe', Daan says. 'Hi Daan, your parents are THE BEST!!'
