I'm a junior in high school. I've always done well, in school. I've had my moments where it's difficult. Mostly due to the ass- holes who attend school with me. Just because I'm smart makes me a target for being shoved around. That was, until he stood up for me. Jason igeiss had threw my books down and shoved me to the floor. I had closed my eyes waiting for him to hit me while I was down. But instead, nothing. I opened one eye and saw a person standing in front of me. He must be new. Nobody ever sticks up for me, I thought still sitting on the ground. He turned towards me and his arm started moving forward. I instinctively flinched and threw my hands up over my head. "I won't hurt you. I just want to help you up." He said. His hand was still reaching out towards me. I took it and he pulled me up. I bent down to pick up my books and he quickly helped me. "Uh..here." he said handing me a book. "Thanks" I blushed. "I'm Scott. Your okay right?" He asked, reaching out to touch my shoulder. I avoided him. "I'm fine. Thanks for helping me." I said. I turned and walked quickly to class. I couldn't stop thinking about him. By the end of the day, I was exhausted and ready to go home and sleep. "Hey! You girl!" I kept walking. I was used to those yells and knew ignoring them would hold them off a little while longer. I heard fast footsteps behind me and braced myself for the impact. But it never came. I opened my eyes and Scott was standing in front of me. "Hi" he said, with a gorgeous, bright smile. I felt my heart melt in my chest.
