The next morning Alexis is awoken by a knocking at the door, "Alexis, wake up." Kelly says while knocking, as Alexis rolls over in bed and is slowly disappointed by the fact that she wasn't in fact dreaming.  She gets out of bed and opens the door for Kelly, "I still have to change,'' she says, walking over to the bathroom.

"Okay, just dont take forever" Kelly replies. Moments later Alexis exits the bathroom dressed for the day.

"So what are we doing today?"

"Well I need to tell you some stuff first before we go anywhere" Kelly says, concerningly which worries Alexis.

"What do you need to tell me? Should I be worried?"

"Well yes and no, I just want you to know that having powers is dangerous, you'll have to do things you never want to do, and endure pain that isn't even possible to think about. I don't want to scare you but there's something you should know." Kelly pauses for a second debating whether or not she should speak of the incident or not.

Alexis sits down as she sees the worry on Kelly's face, "Go on, tell me, I can handle it." Alexis says.

"There was this girl, a little over a year ago" Kelly talks as the memories are jogging her mind. "She was similar to you, powerful and smart. Rose was her name, she tried to resist Cheng and fight back. As you can tell he doesn't have a very good temper, after almost a month of it he got tired and went in with the big machines to figure out her powers, and in doing so he ended up losing everything including her. And Alexis honey, I do not want that to be your future."

"So much for not scaring me." Alexis says as she looks down at her hands, confused but almost scared of herself.

"I'm sorry, I just promised myself that I wouldn't let it happen again, to anyone, when I was taken by our past leader I was the same as you. I didn't want to be here and now," Kelly pauses, "Well now I feel like we are so far in here, that there's no way to get out. So the least I can do is try to help you."

Alexis goes over to Kelly and gives her a big hug, and for the first time she feels comfort in someone who isn't Steve. "Thank you, I will try to be careful." She lets go of her hug as Kelly puts her brave face on almost hiding the vulnerable person she just was.

"Alright, Alexis, let's get you to Cheng." Kelly leads her to a new room that Alexis has never been to. As she walks through the door Cheng greets them both with a smile. "Good morning," he says.

"Good morning," Kelly says as she nudges Alexis a little to wake her up.

"Oh umm, good morning," Alexis stutters but finally gets it out.

"Kelly, you can go to work, I can take care of Alexis from here." He says as he walks away from the screens and towards them.

"Okay, have a good day you too," she smiles and leaves them alone in the room.

"Alright Alexis I need you to take this and sit on the chair please." Cheng gives Alexis a small candy looking pill, and points over to what looks like a dentist chair. As Alexis is still scared of the information she got this morning she takes the pill quickly and shuffles over to the chair. As she sits down with the press of a button restraints are put over her wrists and ankles keeping her tied down to the chair. "Don't worry," Cheng says as Alexis is starting to feel faint, "You will be just fine." Alexis' eyes start fluttering shut as Cheng puts wires on her temples, and just as that she is blacked out.

Alexis is in a city at night, streetlights are lit on the narrow, wet drive that is surrounded by buildings on both sides. As she is walking down it she hears faint whispering, "Alexis, turn around, Alexis." As she turns around she sees a shadowed figure that seems to be holding a gun. "Wait, stop, I'm not going to hurt you." Alexis cries out to the figure as she slowly starts to back away from it, since it is still approaching her. The figure aims the gun right at Alexis, and it places a finger on the trigger. "I can help you" Alexis pleads, still backing away with her hands up in the air. Alexis groans, as she hears a shot be fired, it hits her, bleeding out of her shoulder, she begins to turn and run down the endless street. The same voice whispers back to her again, "Use your powers Alexis," she immediately comes to a stop and turns back around to face the figure. "Tell it you're not afraid" the voice whispers again. "I'm not afraid of you" Alexis screams at it, she places her hand out, palm facing the figure. "I am not afraid," she says one more time for confidence, just as a blue burst of energy flies out of her hand as the figure stands a few yards away from her. It hits the gun, sending it flying onto the wet pavement. With the blood still pouring out of her she finds the anger to hit the figure multiple times until it finally hits the ground, leaving her alone on the street once again, until it all fades to white.

"Pretty realistic isn't it" Chengs says as he removes the wires that were placed on Alexis' head.

"What was that," Alexis asks as her vision finally comes back to her.

"A test, and you did pretty good for your first time," Cheng replies as he undos the restraints from her. "You can go to lunch now if you'd like just be sure to meet me in my office around one."

"Wait what time is it," Alexis questions as she sits up from the chair.

"It is 11:30, you were in the simulator for a few hours."

"Oh, okay, I'll see you at one then" Alexis feels funky but leaves the room looking for someone she can talk to.
