Chapter 11

DELANIS POV.

The girls were the ones to break the news to me. Hayden was breaking up with me for no reason. Or at least they wouldn't tell me the reason. Hayden didn't know I knew though. I was going to meet him today, which is where he was going to break up with me. I was ready. For some reason I didn't feel hurt or sad. I didn't feel anything. I could have sworn I was in love. But I would have felt more if it was meant to be.

Juliet helped me get ready. I had moved in with her because it was the beggining of fishing season and It would be difficult living out on the water. I didn't have anything except for the clothes Zayn bought me. Juliet offered to share her clothes, shoes, hair products, accessories, everything. She was like a sister now. I didn't bother looking nice because I didn't have to impress him anymore. Juliet would be driving me there, so she could wait outside and drive me to the boat after. I still consider that boat my homE, and I needed to tall to Zayn.

She dropped me off in front of the coffee shop. I could see him through the glass windows. I walked in and sat across from him. He smiled and gave me a hug.

"Hayden we need to talk." I said

"Listen I know you know. But I have a good reason."

"And that reason is?" I asked

"I can't tell you but its for the better. Friends?"

"Yes sure" I sighed

"Are you mad?" He asked worried.

"No of course not. I have to go.. Bye" and with that I walked away. I wasn't mad at all. I was just frusterated because he wouldn't tell me why. I got back in the car and slumped my shoulders.

"That was fast" Juliet laughed

"Just get it over with ya know" I smiled

We started towards the boat. It was a short drive and wed be there in no time. And that's what happened. She dropped me off and I walked down the docks. When the boat came in sight I saw zayn sitting on the ladder. I think he knew I was coming. He always waiteid for me when I visited. When he saw me his face lit up and he met me for a hug.

"He broke up with me." I started.

ZAYNS POV

I didn't budge. I had just heard the words I'd been dying to hear for the past month. She could be mine. No. She would be mine. Not right now, but soon. I was going to ask her out I'm a unique way because she's the most unique girl I've ever met.

"I'm sorry... Are you okay?" I asked.

"Perfect" she smiled.hmmm. I expected her to be sad. We went inside the boat and sat down at the table and talked. She wanted to get a job. She had already set up a few interveiws. It was so cute how she was driving to do well. She never got a good education, but I would consider us both nerds. She was really intelligent. Just another thing I love about her.
