at the movie theater, andi decides on watching knives out. she thanks the worker that hands the ticket to her and turns to start walking down the hallway full of theaters but ends up turning into someone and popcorn goes flying.
"oh my god i'm so sorry!" andi immediately starts cleaning the spilled popcorn up off of the floor.
"it's totally fine" the girl she bumped into leans down and starts cleaning up the rest of the popcorn, "thank you for helping me clean it up, you really didn't have to".
they both are standing now and the girl gives andi a warm smile. she's blonde with the straightest teeth andi has ever seen and andi feels her heart skip a beat looking at this girl.
"no worries really!" andi is blushing now, "i'm andi by the way not that it's important i guess i just-" she lets out a breath and continues, "didn't know what else to say."
"i'm amber." amber smiles harder at andi and holds her hand out for a shake. andi takes her hand and shakes and shakes and continues to shake until amber laughs and says, "so i'm here alone. are you?" andi drops her hand embarrassed.
"sorry yeah i'm here alone too. kind of nervous, i don't usually do things alone." amber turns her head slightly and raises one eyebrow. andi continues, "i'm watching knives out!"
"oh i am too! that's so funny" amber giggles a bit, "we should watch it together then? since you don't usually do things alone yeah?"
andi, stumbling over her words, manages to get out, "yeah that would be cool!"
"great lets head in then" amber says. she locks her right arm in with andi's left arm and starts walking down the hallway.
