It had been a long day, Ava and her friends were now chilling in the living room, weird shapes illuminated by the light were walking outside of the window, They had gotten used to the aliens coming around the dorm areas. Ever since they planned to become space explorers, their missions were to defeat fake aliens and try to become friends with the real ones, it wasn't as easy as you might have thought. Most of the time they would squirt green, squishy slime in your eyes, like squids, besides they were still learning the common galaxy language.
Luke had drifted to sleep on the couch and Livia was busy talking to Drake over the phone, Ava sighed, she wanted to sleep too, but if she didn't finish her homework, tomorrow would be hell. She walked over to her study desk and sat down to start finishing her Rocket Technology homework.
*********************************************************
A few hours later, she had finished her homework, lines were drawn across her paper forming the shape of rocket 230FO, the seventh most complex rocket in school. It was so hard to draw it and label all the parts and how it works. The floating island's lights had switched now, causing a mysterious glow. Ava put her pen down and was walking to bed when she heard glass shattering somewhere... Livia looked up from her phone, she had hung up with Drake "What was that?", Ava glanced at her "Not sure Liv.. I don't think it can be anything serious... right?" Livia was getting worried now, suddenly, gun shots started to break the silence of the night.
"What the heck is going?!" Livia said, clearly frightened, Ava ran towards them and started to wake up Luke, alarms went off in every direction and there were screams coming from the dorm next to theirs, Ava went pale, Luke was half asleep and dazed, oblivious to his surroundings until Drake came running in through the open door... Open? They hadn't left the door open, a cold chill went down her spine, Ava sat down next to Livia who was now hiding behind Drake. "We have to get out of here," He said, his expression was stern, Ava knew he was trying to keep his ground and hide his fright so they would feel safe, "The aliens have gone haywire somehow" He continued "W-What, thats not possible, we had made a truce" Said Livia, "Well it's happened and we need a way out." Drake looked at Ava and Luke, "Nothing is under control right now, there are buildings on fire and all of the evacuation planes are leaving in 10 minutes."
Luke sat up "How serious is the situation that they're leaving in 10 minutes! Were too far away from the landing ground, just because they said we have to get up and go as soon as we hear the alarm does not mean they can leave in 10 minutes!" Livia was shaking a bit, she wasn't the bravest but she was the smartest of them all, Ava looked towards her with a hopeful face. "I-I don't have a plan" Livia slunk back to her brothers back. "Maybe we should just stay here then, till the chaos dies down, I'm sure they'll come back for us," said Ava "You know we don't have a hope of reaching there anyways"
They all didn't have a better plan, at this rate there were only 8 minutes left to reach, the landing ground was at least 20 minutes away and they had no car with them. Just then, the blood drained out of Drake's face "Why was the door open..." Everybody paused "We hadn't left it open" Said Livia tearing up a bit, Drake looked a bit sick now "They're in here, we can't stay" Just as he said that, a tall dark green figure, with a deformed face and glowing yellow eyes entered the room, it was covered with blood and has a smirk on it's face, knife in hand. Livia clung onto her brother even harder than before and Ava wasn't convinced he was able to breath, but that wasn't an issue right now. They all looked at each other, and as if they could read minds, they ran as fast as they could at the same time, at least 2,000 Aliens chasing after them.
