What does Independence mean to me?

Independence to me is the capability of a person to be free.

When a person is independence, it is synonymous to saying that the person is self-disciplined and confident. They are fully able to take care of themselves and can stand on their own two feet proudly.

A person who is independent in life has firm beliefs and the ability to choose the path they desire using them. Experiencing life and developing your own way of thinking is what develops personal rules and boundaries, something which marks a truly self-sufficient person.

To me, independence is being mature. It is the symbol of becoming an adult who self-governs their life and takes responsibility for their action, whether good or bad. It is individually and creativity. It is being orderly in the chaos. It is being carefree and brave bound by personal principles.

Independence is not being alone in the big world, but building your own world in it.
