"Thank you for the shower and the meal."
"Y-you're welcome"

You can feel him slightly smiling next to the most sensitive skin of your neck, making you shiver a bit. He then begin to lower his voice, getting deeper.

"You should return me the favor."
"Wha-"
"Isn't it your turn to show me your body,  Y/N?"

You can feel your cheeks turning bright red, Diluc's hair could even be jealous of how red you are right now. You're actually at a lose of words, pretty disturbed by him.

"You're pretty cute when you're embarrassed."

Xiao puts a gentle kiss on the back of your neck, hugging you from behind.

"Stop teasing me ! I didn't saw that on purpose, it was an accident."
"I know, you're just funny to chaff."

Turning you around so you can face him, Xiao puts his forehead on yours, gazing in your eyes. He will never say it, but he really do love you more than he should, after all you're just a human among the others. But the way you fought with him, the way you never let go of your goal, the way you smile sadly at the stars when it's a clear night, the way your eyes glow when you help someone, the way you always seem like something is missing, the way he can hear you crying in your sleep when he pass by the window of your bedroom some nights, the way you never seem really happy and more like forcing yourself.

He wanted to see the true you, he wanted to make you happy, he wanted to see a pure smile on your face with your eyes glowing of joy, he wanted to finally see your face when you're really relaxed. He wanted to see love on your face. Love for him and only him. He want you to be his forever, to be by your side and help you in your quest, even if he needs to get hurt in order to protect you, he would give his life for you. Anytime you call him, he would come in just a blink of an eye. He wanted to hurt anyone who hurt you in the past, especially that stupid ginger Snezhnayan.

"...ao? Xiao, are you okay?"
"Ah ? Yes, sorry."

He didn't even realize he was staring at you, lost in his mind. Not that it annoyed him, he could do this all day long, watching you from afar to be sure nothing wrong happen to y-

"Xiao what's on your mind to keep on spacing out?"

You see him tilting his head, resting his head on your shoulder. His soft hair smells like your shampoo, you put your nose in it and breath deeply. It's so relaxing to be in his arms, it feels like you two are alone in this world and you wish nothing will ever interrupt this moment.

"I'm sorry for spacing out, you're just all over my mind and I was thinking about y-"

His eyes widen. He didn't mean to say it all out, now he's the one embarrassed. You put both of your hands on his cheeks, getting his face in front of yours only to see him softly blushing. You smile at him, your eyes showing all your feelings for the adeptus. Something in Xiao's mind snaps and he quickly press your lips together, giving you a pure and soft kiss. Your hands in his hair are making him go crazy, but all he does is carrying you to sit on the counter with his hands on your hips.

You both break the kiss to take your breath back, glaring at each other with a pink tint on your faces.

"You're all over my mind too Xiao."

You both know what you mean by that and you don't need anything else for now. All you want right now is for Xiao to stay by your side, you'll take care of the future later.
