also, i know briggs doesn't actually have this BIG crush on alivia or anything but i still love writing wholesome fluff so there.

Then, screams eerupt from the ballroom.

Everyone was quick to leave their friends behind, and run to the exit in hopes to escape without death.

There was screams and cries as the roof started to cave in.

Instinct told Alivia to grab Briggs by the wrist and to run as fast as her heels could get her. Her dress was not helping, having it cover her heels (yes, it was that long). Alivia saw no one else as she was so focused on getting her and Briggs out of there.

Briggs obviously didn't just let her drag him, he took initiative and ran faster, reaching the exit just in time.

A massive wave of the now broken castle flew Briggs and Alivia into the water. Under the water, Alivia aggressively took off her heels, and her dress helped her float to the surface. Briggs took off his jacket and floated up just shortly after Alivia.

Alivia was panting and Briggs couldn't even process what was happening.

"what, in the actual-"

"-oh, well that's not good."
a cold voice sounded from the bridge, which strangely, was still intact.

"you want a little help there?"

"no, whey're definitely fine just floating around here waiting to figure out what just happened."
Alivia spat.

no one was in sight except the boy, and Briggs was
highly suspicious as to why this was.

the boy on the bridge nodded, and nodded over to his left. he sped-walk to the end of the bridge and to the side, supposedly where he would help the two out of the cavernous water.

Alivia couldn't swim very well, and Briggs could tell by the way her arms were flapping about. he gently held her waist loosely and tried his best to guide her towards the boy in the water. it was rather difficult, but she got there.

she nodded at Briggs with a smile, and he cockily smirked right back at her.

"Aaah, look what the cat dragged in."

Alivia mentally rolled her eyes to the back of her head before turning around.

"Did you miss me?" Eva taunted.

"Obviously not. Briggs, i'm starting to wish we would've just drowned."

The boy that helped them tutted audibly, and the three of them turned around to face him.

"Who are you, anyway?" Alivia said, and in her best attempt tried not to sound too rude.

Briggs stood forward and shook the mans hand.

"Your majesty's, this is Tamashi Seikatsu."

Tamashi nodded and shook both of the girls' hands.
