ɢᴀᴍᴇ 𝟷 🇷‌🇪‌🇩‌ 🇱‌🇮‌🇬‌🇭‌🇹‌, 🇬‌🇷‌🇪‌🇪‌🇳‌ 🇱‌🇮‌🇬‌🇭‌🇹‌

Remember the times when we used to play with our friends, classmates, relatives? It was so much fun playing with them, but now that we grew older.... The games have changed.



"Ms. Hwa, are you going to pay now?" a stranger said. 

"I will, just give me time please..." Hwa Chin replied with a upset face. 

"Fine. This is the last time I will give you a chance to pay Ms. Hwa."

The Business man walked away from Hwa Chin. 

"Hey Chin, when are you exactly gonna pay your debt?" Won Hae asked. 

"I don't fucking know." Chin replied to Hae. 

They walked around the mall and talked to each other. 

"By the way, I got invited to something!" Hae said to Chin.

"Wait what?" Chin asked. 

"I know it might be dangerous but I have to join for fun!"

They just kept talking about how it might be dangerous to get an invitation by a "stranger" 

"I have to go now, bye bye Chin!" Hae waved goodbye.

Chin waved a goodbye with a smile and went to a train station to go back home. 

While waiting for a train, a business guy came by and looked at Hwa Chin like they're interested in her.  

"Excuse me ma'am, do you have a minute?" The strange business man asked. 

"I'm sorry I'm already taken." Chin replied.

"No no! It's not about that! So uh" 

"Uhhh?" 

"Miss, would you like play a game with me?"

"Oh, I'm sorry but who are you? I'm not really the type of person to join-"

The man took out a briefcase and opened it. 

He showed 2 envelopes. The first one is blue, the second is red.

"You've played ddakji before, haven't you? Play a few rounds of ddakji with me and each time you win I'll pay you a 100,000 won."

There was a moment of silence before Chin replied. 

"Wait hold up- If I play and win I will get a 100,000 won? Is this a scam or something?" 

"No miss it's not a scam." 

He showed the 2 envelopes and asked. 

"So which colour do you wanna play as?" 

Chin chose blue and they started to play ddakji with the business man. 

Sadly, Chin lost at the few rounds. Now it's the last round.
Chin sighed, she kissed the paper she is holding to get goodluck. 
And then a miracle happened! She flipped the other paper on the floor. 
She screamed happily and kept jumping.

"I finally did it!" Chin shouted. 

The business man clapped and gave her a 100 grand.

An hour passed, Chin is counting the money she had earned.

"You know ma'am, there are other games like this where you can make even more." The business man said to Chin.

"More?" 

"Yes, more."

"I can join for the money, but I have plans." 

"Ms. Hwa." 

Chin stared at the man with surprised face.

"How did you-" 

"Earlier, you already signed away your physical rights. Your name Hwa Chin. 29 years old."

The business man suddenly said some informations about Hwa Chin.

"How did you know... who are you, what do you need from me?" 

He pulled out a card that has 3 symbols in it, a circle, triangle and, a square.
He puts the card to Chin's hand.

"Just think about it."

And then he walks away while Chin was looking at the card trying to figure out what the symbols mean. When Chin flipped the card she saw a phone number... 

"8-6-5-0... 4-0-0-6."

When Chin looked up to the train, she saw the business man mouthing something like... 'Good luck'...? 

Chin went back home to see her little sister napping on the couch. She carried her sister to the couch, sat down, and read the card again. Chin heard her sister waking up.

"좋은 저녁이에요, Nari." 

"Oh? You have so much money... did you gamble again?" 

"No no no, a kind man gave me this!"

"Oh okey! So does that mean we can buy more yummy food?" 

"Of course, we can go tomorrow!" 

Hwa Nari jumped happily because they mostly eat the same food everyday. Chin yawned and went to sleep with her sister beside her.

Chin woke up in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom. She went to call the man from the train station. 

*ring ring ring*

"Hello, who's this?" the man picked up and asked.

"Hi,  You gave me your business card earlier." Chin replied. 

"Do you wish to join the game? If you wish to participate, please state your name and birthdate."

"Hwa Chin, 24th Of August."

Chin is outside waiting for someone? She kept looking if they're there or not. And then she saw a car driving towards her... They rolled the card window down and asked.

"Are you Hwa Chin?" The mysterious man asked Chin.

"Yeah, so the password is... Red Light Green Light."

The door opened and she went in, she saw some people in the car 'sleeping'. When the door closed gas went out and it made her fall asleep.

Chin opened her eyes and saw.... multiple people sleeping, she was wearing a weird uniform.. she looked around more with calming classical music playing in the background. Chin saw Hae looking around too, she ran to her and hugged her. 

"Omg Hae, is this the thing you said you got invited to?" Chin asked Hae.

"Yeah this was it I think." Hae replied. 

"You thin-" 

Their conversation got disturbed by a fight. 

"You're a girl, you can't beat me I'm a God." the man said to the girl.

"You better save your fucking words before you die." the woman replied. 

The guy was about to hit the woman but someone stopped him. 

"Bro can you like fuck off? Just because your a man, doesn't mean you're a God." Chin said to the guy and kicked his balls. 

"Pussy." Chin said before he kicked him in the stomach.

There was an alarm and the door opened and there were multiple men carrying guns. They all had circles in the mask except one has a square.

"I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to you all. Everyone here will participate in six different games over six days. Those who win all six games will receive a handsome cash prize." The squared masked guy said to everyone in the room. 

"How much will you guys pay us?" Player 010 asked. 

The squared guy pulled out a remote and showed a big clear ball that is empty. 

"Your prize money will be accumulated in there after every game. We will disclose the amount to everyone  after the first game is over. If you do not wish to participate, then please let us know at this time." 

A few minutes later, everyone is signing in a player consent form. Classical music started to play when everyone is done, they all lined up to prepare for the first game on the first day, but before they go to the game, they have to take a picture to be recognized by the 'Headmaster'.. While going up and down the stairs, the players were looking around.

↣ They have arrived at the first game. ↢

They went to a place where its sunny, everyone was looking at the doll which is probably the first game.

"Hey player 099." Player 023 whispered to Chin. 

"hello?" Chin replied to the woman she helped earlier. 

"Look at the doll, it's kinda scary right?" 

"Yeah..." 

"Here is the first game. You will be playing Red Light, Green Light. " The doll said while turning towards the tree.

"You are only allowed to move foward when 'it' shouts out 'Green Light' and stop when 'it' says 'Red Light'. If your movement is detected afterward, you will be eliminated. Those players who cross the finish line without being eliminated within five minute playtime will pass this round. With that let the game begin." 

"Green light..." 

Everyone started to run while the doll hasn't said red light.  

"Red light." 

One of the people in front moved. 

"Player 321 has been eliminated." 

There was a moment of silence knowing that, that one player lost. The silence broke from a gun shot...

"Green Light..." 

Almost everyone ran to the player to see if the player is ok. 

"Red Light." 

"Hey player 321, don't joke like that in a fun game." A player said to check on them. Suddenly player 321 coughed blood. The other played took some steps back and ran. Again, another gun shot which made the other players panic. There was a lot of gun shots because it detected all the people running. They were running, even stepping on the dead bodies. 

Now that the gun shots stopped the woman repeated the rules. 

"You are only allowed to move foward when 'it' shouts out 'Green Light' and stop when 'it' says 'Red Light'. If your movement is detected afterward, you will be eliminated."

The remaining players waited for the green light to move and to pass this game. 

"With that, let the game resume. Green Light..." 

Some players we're still in shock, they couldn't move a muscle. 

"Red light. Green Light..." 

Players started to move to reach the end.. 

"Red light." 

The doll looked around and found no movements.

"Green light..." 

They walked so they could avoid wobbling when the doll says red light. 

"Red Light." ... *Gun shot* 

"Green light..." more players started to move while a player was still shaking and on the floor. 

"red light." ... two gun shots. 

Minutes have passed... some players were eliminated, some players are still alive and so on and so on...

"Green Light... Red light." 

"Whos that person behind me, I can hear you." The bad guy whispered to Chin. 

"The one behind you is your small as dingdong. " Chin replied. 

"Green Light... Red Light. " ... more gun shots. "Green Light... Red light."  

"Look woman, you better stop going behind me." He whispered to Chin again. 

"No thanks, It'll be better if I see your dead body in front of me." Chin put her hand on the bad guy's hair. 

"Green Light..." Chin pulled his hair and it made him fall to the ground. 

"Red Light." ... *gun shot* surprisingly, the bad guy died. 

0:00... time is up, everyone that didn't pass the game will be eliminated. 
Everyone went back to their rooms to sleep. Let us see what the next game will be..
