Holding back (Obito x reader x Kakashi)

Chapter five

When I got there, it was destroyed. It was like she was struggling against the enemy. I decided then that I would find her, even if it meant I died.

Y/n's POV- (Akatsuki hideout)
I was brought to a hideout by a man with a masked face. "Who the hell are you," I said in a stern voice. "Tobi's name is Tobi," said the masked man. He was very cheerful which surprised me considering how different his voice was from his body. I then met the other members that were currently there. I knew Itachi was there but the others were a mystery. I then saw Itachi for the first time in a whole year. He had matured into a young man and if I was younger, I might have fallen for him. "Hello Itachi. It's been awhile hasn't it," I said as I chuckled. I then met the others. There was Deidara, Sasori, Kazuzu, Hidan, Konan, Pain, Orochimaru, and Zetsu along with another man named Juzo. I was lying on the ground and Hidan walked up. "I should sacrifice her to Jashin," he said but was stopped by Tobi, who turned out to be the masked man. "It's been awhile," said Orochimaru as he slithered up to me and held my chin up. He showed his long tongue which always freaked me out. I actually was trained by Orochimaru when he wasn't a rogue ninja.

Tobi then brought me to his room. "Tobi misses Y/n so much," said Tobi, hugging me tightly. "Do I know you," I asked. He then removed his mask and I gasped. I then began to cry so much and then embraced him. "I thought you were dead, you idiot. If you were alive, you should've told me," I said as I sobbed. He patted my head and held me in his arms. I then get away from the hug. "Obito. Why'd you join the Akatsuki? Rin would have never wanted this and I know how much you cared for her," I said. He flinched after hearing her name. At that moment, I realized that he knew about Rin's death. He paused for a moment before looking at me. "Do I look ugly with these scars on me," he asked.

I shook my head no and rubbed my hand on his face. "I have another question. Why did you wait to confess your love to me," asked Obito. I sighed before answering. "I knew that you liked Rin. It's true that I loved you ever since we were kids. You were always a kind soul and helped out others. You always would treat others except Kakashi with the kindest respect. I wanted to tell you my feelings back then but I didn't know how you would react. I wanted to be a supportive friend with you and Rin but it hurt. When I thought you were about to die, I couldn't hold those feelings back anymore," I said with tears starting to come out.

Obito embraced me. "Please leave the leaf village and join the Akatsuki," said Obito.
