HAPPY ENDING?

CHAPTER 1

Flora woke up yawning and stretching, eyes squinted and hair sticking out all over the place. She rubbed her eyes and took a closer look at the standing silhouette at the door of her room, it was her mum Mrs martins. "Morning mum" flora said groggily still rubbing her eyes since her vision was still blurry. "Morning dear, did you sleep well?" Her Mum asked as she came into the room with a tray in her hands. "Yeah I slept okay. Mmn what's that smell?" Flora asked sniffing like her life depended on it. "Break fast. eat and shower were leaving in half an hour" she said and set the tray on her side table. "Ugh, why can't I stay home today?, you know call in sick and stay home?".        
"No".
"please,and besides it's not like today is important it's just the last day of school and if they do anything important I could always watch it through my phone".
"it's still no, listen flora everyday of_".  Flora groaned in frustration cutting off her mum and ruffled her hair making it messier than it already was, she wasn't ready to listen to another lecture from her mum about going to school. "Look I know its not easy but_".
"Look mum no need to waste your breath i'll be down in 20 minutes". Mrs martins sighed and left the room knowing fully well that talking to her daughter was useless at this point.

"Bye honey"
"Bye mum" and with that her mum drove away. Flora turned to face the school, looking at it with knotted eyebrows, she hated it. Here she was constantly bullied, being called a dork and many other name just because she wore glasses!. She sometimes snapped and did the craziest things for example last week.
Flashback...................
      Flora sat down in one of the table at the farthest corner of the cafeteria trying not draw attention to her self as she knew what it would cost her. As she ate quietly she  felt someone shadow her, when she looked up she saw jessica one of the biggest bullies in the school and also the most popular girl. "Hey four eyes, whatcha  doing?" Jessica asked. Flora ignored her and silently faced her food when she (as in Jessica) pulled flora's hair making her yelp. "Oh I see you're trying to act tough" but flora didn't move or say anything she was used to everything Jessica was doing. "Oops" said jessica and before flora could figure out what happened her maths assignment was dripping wet, she had worked so bad on it. At that moment flora lost it she violently grabbed the books in  jessica's hands and started ripping it apart. "Are you crazy?, stop that" and with that they started a full fledged fight. It took three teachers to separate them. Long story cut short, not only did she fail the maths assignment she also got detention for the rest of that week and Jessica was allowed to go Scott free because her father was one of the biggest donors of the school so they didn't want to get on her bad side.
End of flashback......................
          As flora stood there thinking she didn't notice becky her best friend shaking her and calling her name. "Flora?!!!" It took some time before she came to reality and regained her composure. "Oh becky Hi, when did you get here?"
" i've been standing here shaking you and calling your name for the past 9 minutes!!!"
"Really?, i'm sorry"
"What were you thinking of?, you scared me"
"Its nothing don't worry about it"
             With that becky didn't ask farther instead she changed the topic and the duo began to talk about their weekends and how they spent it. Flora lost track of were they were heading to, all she Could think about was Becky weekend. You see becky was a rich girl who spent her weekends going for balls, expensive parties and met with different celebrities. It didn't mean she a poor student, in fact Becky was one of the best students in the entire school, so with Becky story telling she was lost in thoughts. "Hey flora I'm going to go say hi to some friends"
"Okay" and she left. Flora became immersed in her own thoughts again imagining how it would be to attend fancy parties and meeting celebrities when she bumped into some thing hard and slipped but some one caught her,when she looked up she felt heart fly all the way to her mouth.
