26: Let's Eat Outside

It was the day after Heejin went to Yerim's house and stayed there for a while.

As Y/N's usual morning routine, he cleaned his place after he woke up, and the first thing that popped in his mind was Heejin.

"I wonder what she's doing right now"
Y/N mumbled while looking for his phone on his bed, crawling everywhere only to see his phone at the floor, faced down.

"Jeez, my sleeping habit again" Y/N picked up his phone and good thing the screen's not cracked seriously, only the tempered glass.

Y/N sometimes has a sleeping habit of swaying his hands everywhere and hitting everything that it reaches. Maybe many people already felt that, hitting things around while asleep.

After seeing that the phone is fine, Y/N
called Chaewon to check on her since it was his plan for the day.

As soon as Y/N called, Chaewon immediately picked up the call, "Good Morning!"  He greeted.

"Hmm, Morning" Chaewon replied, based on her tone, it sounds like she just woke up from her sleep.

"Are you alright? And Did you sleep well?" Y/N asked.

*yawn* "Yeah I'm sleeping well until you called......just kidding, will you pass by here?" Chaewon asked "I'm bored to be honest"

"I'll go there later, Heejin is with Yerim too, she's staying there with her for the time being while Jihoon said he's studying...good thing you're smarter than him" Y/N answered as he prepares to leave his house.

"You're messing with me again, I'll hang up now, have a safe trip" Chaewon then ended the call, getting back on her sleeping position.

Chaewon sighed while rolling on the bed, "The hospital bed is way more comfortable than my own bed"

- Jihoon's POV -

"Great, just great" I stretched my arms as I finished my studies and some of our projects,  I should really study well of I want to pass since my grades are always up and down.

I was about to take a nap after a whole night of studying non stop when my phone rang, I really want to turn down the call but it's Chaewon so I'll answer it.

"Oh Chaewon-ah" I greeted her,

"Oppa, Y/N told me that you studied all night, I told you not to do it right?"
Chaewon scolded me, Jeez if only I knew she will nag me then I won't answer it.

But I know she's just worried lol,
"Yeah, I'm going to sleep now, take care" I hanged up, I'm really drowsy and my body will surely go to sleep once I closed my eyes.

After hours of traveling, Y/N arrived at the hospital carrying a plastic of flowers to put beside Ken's bed.

Y/N opened the door, only to see Chaewon sleeping peacefully on the bed, hugging the pillow beside her tightly.

"No wonder she likes staying here"
Y/N shook his head, while replacing the flowers on the table beside Ken with new ones.

"Hey" Y/N tapped Chaewon's arm, "Let's eat outside"

"Sure" Chaewon suddenly opened her eyes and sat down on the bed, hearing those words especially "Eat" will make someone's day.

"And where are we gonna eat?" Chaewon asked, preparing herself, it's been a while since she got to eat outside. As she's busy not just on school works.

Y/N gave her a flyer that he got on the Hospital entrance, "It's a new Chicken store, let's go?"

"Only the two of us?" Chaewon wondered. "Yes" Y/N answered, "Is something the matter?"

Chaewon was hesitant at first because she knew no one will be left to with Ken, "Don't worry, his doctor told me it's fine" Y/N told Chaewon as if he read her mind.

"Whoah, you know what I'm thinking" Chaewon clapped her hands jokingly, as they both exited the room.

- Heejin and Yerim -

After being up all night, Heejin slept on Yerim's bed without her knowing. Waking up and seeing Yerim cuddling Heejin while sleeping brought smile to her face, while combing the younger one's hair with her fingers.

Heejin tried her best to remove herself from Yerim's hands "Jeez, how can this kid hug so tightly like I'm going to escape?" Heejin thought while struggling since Yerim's legs are also on top of her.

"Don't leave me" Yerim sleep talked, cuddling Heejin once again after she did her best to remove her hands.

Taking a very deep sigh, Heejin just went back to sleep again. "A few hours of sleep won't hurt"

"I wonder what Y/N is up to"

- Chaewon and Y/N -

"I think you should take your time eating, we have plenty of time" Y/N pulled some tissues on their table and gave it to Chaewon. "Thanks" Chaewon wiped her lips with the tissue as she continued eating again.

Yeah of course, it's Chicken! Who can resist the smell and taste of it?

"Why, something's wrong? You miss Heejin?" Chaewon asked as she noticed that Y/N's just looking at her and is not eating anything.

Y/N shook his head, "Nothing, I just thought that it's been a long time since the two of us went outside together"

"Now that you mentioned it, most of the times that we hang out are the four of us (with Heejin and Jihoon)"
Chaewon said

"Yeah, and we're also close with each other too, so it's kind of unusual that we don't talk with each other often"
Y/N said

"Don't say that, but anyway, won't Heejin get mad if she saw the two of us outside?" Chaewon asked as she's thinking of that since earlier. "I mean, wouldn't she get the wrong idea?"

Y/N thought for a second. "No, she's not that kind of person" he answered.

Chaewon nodded and went back to eating and so does Y/N.

-Timeskip to afternoon-

Since it's unlimited and eat all you can, the two literally spend like half of the day at the restaurant, Y/N paid for the expenses as they took a walk for a bit, since Chaewon's so full that she can't think properly.

"I told you not to eat so much, look at you" Y/N teased Chaewon as they walk beside each other.

"It's jusy today, I'll return to my diet plans next time" Chaewon said.

As they walk, Y/N kept on looking for something on his pocket. "Looking for something?" Chaewon asked.

Y/N sighed: "My phone, it looks like I left it at the hospital"

"We're almost there anyways" then Chaewon started walking faster.

"Chaewon-unnie, and Y/N" Yerim called them as they entered Ken's room. Yerim was sitting there, reading  the book that Y/N was reading last time which he left earlier.

"Oh, Yerim are you feeling alright now?" Chaewon approached Yerim and hugged her which the latter responded by hugging back since she loves that kind of affection.

"Yes, I'm alright thanks unnie" Yerim broke free from the hug, "You smell like food, did you two ate outside without inviting me?" Yerim pouted as she crosses her arms. (But she's not envious though)

"We ate chicken outside, let's go there next time" Chaewon smiled at her before going to the comfort room inside the room. (It's a VIP room so it's like a hotel room with a hospital bed)

"You're probably still sleeping if I called you earlier in the morning" Y/N answered as he picked his phone at the table, its position hasn't changed which means no one touched it.

"Heejin's calling you since earlier and you're not answering, jeez why would you forget your phone?"

"You're right" Y/N checked through his missed calls and there are 13 unanswered calls.

"I already told her but you should still call Heejin" Yerim lied on the bed and stretched her arms.
