Chapter 1

I am  busy binding my chest because today is the day that the leader of the "famous" Tokyo Manji Gang will initiate and assign me to my division captain.

I pretended to be a boy and join their gang. why you may ask? it is because of my famous half-brothers. Ran and Rindou Haitani.

I am the offspring of their father, the fruit of his affair to his secretary. Sadly, My mother died three years ago so my amazing father thinks it's for the best to throw me here in Tokyo and just give me my own place... Alone. Mom's family disowned her because of the shame she brought to them. Having an affair with a married man is unforgivable sin according to her parents, my grandparents.

He supports and gives me all the things I want except for his last name because that's his wife's request. So I go by the last name of my mother.

I feel like I'm the dirty little secret, my father is keeping out of the public's eye.

I  look up to my two brothers because they are strong and respected by a lot of people especially when they ruled Roponggi all by themselves and now Ran is one of the heavenly knights of Tenjiku alongside our brother Rindou.

They don't respect or even acknowledge me as their sister. For them, I am  just a mistake our father made.

I wanted to join Tenjiku but they refused because they said that I'm a girl and to them, I am weak so I decided to prove them wrong.

"Toman, huh?" Ran said as he walk back and forth with a baton in his hand.

"Yeah!" I said confidently, Rindou suddenly attacks me but I easily dodge it.

"Not bad, half sis." He said adjusting his glasses.

"I'm a Haitani after all."

"Half-" Ran reminded me making me silent for a while. It stings but I try to shake it off. "Okay, Here's the deal. Join Toman and within..." Ran taps his chin with his hand as he was thinking of something. "Five months? no, no, no" Ran shakes his head.

"Eight months!" Rindou said making Ran nod.

"Okay, after eight months, Fight us." He points his baton at me. "If you win against us wearing Toman's gang uniform we will acknowledge you as our sister." He said making me clap my hands. This is easy! I can now prove them that I am worthy of that surname.

"Deal!" You said.

"But they shouldn't know that you're a Haitani." Ran added.

"No problem!"

"Why are you desperate for our attention, y/n?" Rindou asked wrinkling his brows.

"because you are my brothers. you're my only family." I said with a smile. I pick up my bag from the floor and swing it to myback.

"see you in eight months, bro-bro," I said waving at them.

And here I am! I passed their selection now all I have to do is to pass their initiation. "You can do this, y/n." I said as I clench my fist and nod at myself in the mirror. I then take my leather jacket from my bed and put it on. I put my hair in a messy low ponytail and put on some shoes.

I hop on my bike and speed away.

The initiation started, witnessed by five Toman division captains and their vice-captains.

1st division captain: Baji Keisuke with his vice-captain: Matsuno Chifuyu

2nd division captain: Mitsuya Takashi with his vice-captain: Shiba Hakkai

3rd division captain: Pah-chin with his vice-captain: Peyan

4th division captain: Kawata, Nahoya with his vice-captain twin Kawata Souya

lastly, the 5th division captain: Mucho with his vice-captain: Sanzu Haruchiyo.

The initiation masters for today. The vice president Ryuguji Ken and the famous Tokyo Manji Gang commander. Sano Manjiro a.k.a Mikey.

"You guys passed the selection, Congratulations!" Manjiro said as he walks back in forth in front of us. I look around and there are only five of us here. They are more strict in accepting members than I thought.

"The initiation will last within two weeks, You'll follow your division captain's request all the time to make a bond and for you to prove your loyalty and also to have you discipline by them. of course it will all happen after class so it will not affect your studies."

"Errand boy for short.." I whispered.

"What did you say?" Manjiro stops in front of me. I realized what I've said and stand straight. "No one interrupts me while I'm talking," He added.

"Sorry, Sir!" I mumbled.

Manjiro cups my cheeks with his one hand turning my head left to right. "You look like a girl." He said.

"A lot of people tell me that." I said deepening my voice. Luckily my voice is not a high pitch type.

"Every selection there's always a girl who wanted to join because of my division captains." He said examining my face. He touches my hair that's tied in a pony. "Long hair, like a girl."

"I like my hair long like Baji-san, sir!" I said earning a chuckle from Baji.

"Long hair suits you," Baji said.

"A face like a girl."

"I think there's nothing wrong with having a feminine feature like Sanzu-san."

Manjiro nods repeatedly and takes a step back, He then kicks me out of nowhere but I immediately block it with my two hands. I heard gasps everywhere.

"Nice reflexes," Manjiro said with a smirk.

"Thank you, sir." I said.

"But I'm still not convinced," Manjiro said brushing his chin. I am now starting to get annoyed, This little man will not let go of this topic until I prove him something so I walk towards him. I removed my leather jacket and throws it on the floor, I then pull his wrist and place his palm on my chest.

Everyone went quiet for a while.

"Do you feel anything that says I'm a girl?" I asked but he didn't answer.

After a couple of seconds, Manjiro cleared his throat his face are turning red. Really? he's flustered?  I said to my head.

"Mitsuya!" Manjiro called his 2nd division captain.

"Yes, Mikey." He answered walking forward.

"He's yours," Mikey said.

"Okay," Mitsuya said and faces me. "Welcome to Toman and my division...?"

"l/n..."

Shit, I didn't think of a boy name! I mentally scold myself. I quickly look around and are suddenly blinded by the light from the street post. Bright... Akio...

"l/n, Akio," I said confidently

"Welcome to Toman, Akio."

"Honored to be part of your division. Mitsuya-san" I said bowing in front of him.
