Chapter 9

Triggers: electrocution, swearing

**Tommy's POV**

I turn around, axe in hand, prepared to finally give Quackity what's coming to him, but instead, there stands Dream, mask on, with an axe on his shoulder and brass knuckles on his hand.

"Dream what the hell are you doing here? This isn't a part of the plan."

"Screw the plan, I'm here to get Ranboo."

"But, I was supposed to get Ranboo, you're supposed to light the TNT."

"Hear those explosions? I already lit them."

"That's why the explosions were premature. But that wasn't- Whatever, come help me carry him, he's extremely injured."

"I'll take it from here Tommy." Dream pushes me into the wall and walks over to Ranboo about to splash a potion of weakness on him?

I hit him with my axe before he can drop the potion. "What the hell are you doing?"

Dream sighs, "I can't have you messing with my men, you understand Tommy."

"Your men? What the fuck?"

"Ranboo works for me."

"Ranboo would NEVER work for you."

Dream hits me with the butt of his axe and I fall. "He would if he had no choice. And unfortunately, I can't have him under Technoblade's and Philza's protection. So I'll be taking him. I recommend you don't get in my way!"

Dream walks over to Ranboo and splashes the potion of weakness on him, Ranboo passes out.  "NO!" I run up and hit Dream with my axe, I hit his mask and it breaks in half. You can now see all of the emotions on his face. He furrows his eyebrows and kicks me. He punches me in the face and I stumble backwards. He sweeps my feet and I find myself on the ground again.

He kicks me again and I feel the myself being pushed into a table. There's going to be bruises all over my body. How the hell am I going to get out of this alive? Technoblade is the only one that's ever bested Dream in a fight.

I look around to see if there's anything I can use. I glance on the table to see if there's anything useful. There's a few torture devices... Gross.. and a water bucket!!! I grab the water bucket off of the table.

"Ha, what do you plan to do with that?" He laughs at me. I throw the water bucket at him, soaking his clothes and the ground beneath him.

"Oh you little BRAT!" He goes to punch me and I duck his arm and go to the electrical box.

"You fucked up Dream." I make sure that I'm not in the water, I turn the electrical box to full power, the water soaked cables send electricity through Dream's entire body.

"AARRRRRHHHHHHHH," Dream screams as electricity is sent through his body. He looks like he's having a seizure while standing up. I let it go for a few more seconds before I turn it off. Dream falls to the ground. He's unconscious. I won't kill him. I won't stoop that low.

I run over to Ranboo. "Come on man, wake up." I slap his face lightly. He's out cold. "Shit okay." I grab my communication device. "Tommy to Philza, meet me at the entrance to Pogtopia that I showed you yesterday. I have Ranboo. We need to get out of here."

I pick him up with great difficulty "why are you so fucking tall man. Jeez." I make my way out of the ravine.

**Technoblade's POV**

I know Philza went to go help Tommy. It doesn't matter, because our work here is done.

"Why Techno?" Tubbo says with tears in his eyes as he looks at the remains of L'manburg, standing with broken tools.

"We had to send a message. Government is NOT the way."

"Why did you have to kidnap one of our members to send that message?"

"If you're talking about Tommy, Tommy made his choice, without influence."

"I mean Ranboo. Why did you have to take him?"

"What the hell are you talking about? You decided to threaten us with people in your own country and suddenly we're the bad guys? You are all cowards."

"What do you... What?" Tubbo is now looking at me with extreme confusion in his eyes.

"We didn't take Ranboo, Tubbo. You tortured him so that we would call off the war." Tubbo looks at me like I'm crazy. I look around and notice that one person isn't here picking at the remains of L'manburg. "Shit, Quackity."

"Quackity? What did Quackity-" I cut Tubbo off, "he's the one that took Ranboo, Tubbo. He's the one that threatened us. He's the one that did all of this." Tubbo looks at me skeptically. "Whatever, come on, I'll show you." I toss him a golden apple. "Eat first though, you look like shit." Tubbo gave me a 'because of you' look before eating the apple.

"Okay let's go." We start walking in the direction of the main nether portal.
