Chan entered their homeroom and walked directly to his usual seat. No snacks, no short letters taped on his desk. It's already been two weeks since Felix stopped sending him snacks.
No texts, no hi, no hello, no annoying encounter from the younger boy. It's a relief for Chan. Finally, Felix got the balls to stop annoying him. Although it was still new for Chan, he still felt like there's something wrong, and he felt a little bored without the younger's presence but he knows that he's just too used to Felix's annoying self that when he decided to stop, Chan felt bored.
He was relieved by the fact that Felix is no longer chasing him but he doesn't like the idea of the younger avoiding him. It makes him feel uncomfortable, they are still friends after all. Felix is still his friend's brother and he doesn't want to be awkward to the younger boy even after he decides to stop chasing Chan.
He's not really sure if the younger already stopped or he was just too busy because everything was fast he just suddenly starts avoiding Chan. But if he would consider those moments he saw Felix with his co-officer, Wooyoung, the answer is clear; Felix already stopped.
He usually sees the two boys stuck together after the retreat. The silly exchange of teasing, those suspicious stares, and the inseparable times together- they are obviously into each other.
Chan doesn't really care but lately, it's getting in his skin. It irritates him if it was Felix who's making a silly move to the older, it pisses him for no reason. Maybe because everything that Felix does is annoying so even if the younger is annoying other people, it's still annoying for him.
Felix's existence annoys Chan.
"Chan, look at this," Chan's train of thoughts got cut when Jamie approached him, handing him a piece of paper and a flash drive to check.
Chan scanned the paper and read the words written on it before laughing at the girl teasingly, "where did you get all this romantic shit?" He teased but the girl only rolled her eyes at him before sitting down beside him.
"No teasing, how was it? Do you think he would like it?" She whispered.
"I don't know, the lyrics are romantic but I haven't heard of it yet."
"It's in this flash drive." She answered. Chan got his laptop in his bag and opened it. They waited for the device to load until he thought of something to ask Jamie.
"Are you sure about this, Jamie? You're trying to enter a complicated relationship." Chan asked but Jamie only gave him a blank stare.
"Hmm," she hummed. "I'm dead serious about this, it's now or never," she added, making Chan look worriedly at her.
"He's a professor, Jamie." Jamie chuckled, she looked at the boy seriously and smiled.
"I don't really care, Chan. His profession won't stop me from liking him, I like him. Also, we're graduating in a few months. If I succeeded then it won't get him in trouble just the small rumour that might spread once Karens decided to talk about it. I like him and I want to show him that I really do, we only live once just do whatever we wanna do, love whoever we wanna love, get laid, do stupid things, and enjoy, that's what I wanna do." Chan nodded to his friend after her response and smiled at her. She has a point.
"Okay, I'll still help until you reach your goal," he said, making Jamie smile.
"Yes, bitch. Jaehyung should really stop being in denial this time," she responded as they both laughed.
"Oh anyway, you too Chan. You know if you like Felix tell him now instead of regretting things once the boy is no longer interested in you, he's showing signs of falling out of interest already, Chan." She said but Chan chuckled at her.
