*Sofie’s POV*
Elizabeth had been gone for a while but the lights were on. The rides were moving and the girls were amazed. I looked around for Eli but saw no sign of her. I took the girls to the merry-go-round and watched as they went in circles laughing and giggling. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye and looked over. I saw a clown going behind the Ferris wheel. I ignored it even though it put me even more on edge than I had been. The girls wanted to go into the mirror maze next so I followed. We walked in and they ran ahead of me. I stayed back watching them run into mirrors and running into each other. They got out while I was still weaving through the mirrors. I turned a corner and there stood the clown I had caught a glimpse of earlier. It had a horrifying smile that was accentuated due to red face paint. I ran back the way I had came but I was knocked down. The clown grabbed my foot and started dragging me further into the maze. I kicked the hand off of my ankle and scrambled to get up. Once I was up I bolted out to the girls. I grabbed Samantha’s arm and she grabbed the other’s. “Sofie? Where are we going? We’re not done and Elizabeth isn’t back.” Sam said as she struggled against my grasp. “Eli can find her way back to the car. But we need to get out of here.” I continued to pull her and her friends towards the entrance. When we reached the entrance the gate was closed. I ran up to it and tried to pry it open. Locked. “No. No. No No No No!” I screamed while shaking the gate. The clown had locked us in. The girls looked scared once they realized that we couldn’t leave. I heard a deep chuckle and I spun around fast. The clown was standing 40 feet from us. I told the girls to run and they did.
