(Also known as Alex or the person the main protagonist of this story is based off of.) (But you guys probably already knew that (: )

I just wanted to post a lil' update on where I've been and what's been happening cause it's been WHAT, 3 WEEKS SINCE I'VE POSTED ANYTHING????? smh what a lazy author

Anyway, there is a valid reason for my inactivity and that reason is that I'm in college! (Actually  University but that's basically the same thing) So I need to focus on schoolwork and things, and once I've balanced out doing homework and studying with everything else, I'll probably be able to write again.

Regarding this book, I am continuing to write this on a Google Doc and only updating it on Wattpad when I'm finished with the following chapter. So there are many future chapters (some written, some half-written) that I have planned so there's that I guess.

Well that's basically all I wanted to say for now, I'm super excited to show what I've got in store so be ready for lots of angst and other things :)

"... Hello? Where am I..? Who are you?"

Oh, hey there Lilly from the book, I am your creator! Also known as Alex.

"Alex...? What book?? And creator??? Wha-"

(Oh that's right you don't know you're in a book.) Uhhh... don't worry about it. You should wake up...

"Huh..?-"

Lilly wakes up.

"Hey there Lilly, you're finally awake. I was starting to get worried about you. We were walking and you just passed out. It felt like you were out for... about 3 weeks? Thank goodness it was only like a few minutes though." Alex knelt next to where Lilly had decided to take a nap.

"...Alex?"

"Yeah, Lilly?"

"When do you think we will continue our journey?"

"I dunno. It could be a few days, it could me several years. But however long it might take, we shouldn't rush the author. He works super hard and is a very cool person."

"...Why did you include that last part?"

"I don't know, it just felt like I had no other choice but to say it. Also this chapter is not canon at all to the story."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Oh, I'm just breaking the 4th wall. We should get back to what we were doing and completely forget this ever happened. Come on." Alex offers a hand and Lilly gets to her feet. They walk forward, leaving the scene and shifting the readers' attention to something else.

Too meta? Heh, deal with it. Anyway with that small teaser/funny little thing I came up with in like 10 minutes out of the way, what Book-Alex said was indeed true, that was not canon at all. They will continue their journey from the end of the last chapter and just kinda forget this little interaction happened.

*Wait, don't end it yet!

Bro what-

*I said don't end it yet!!

Why should I not end this yet??

*Because the people have been waiting for several weeks now! You can't just leave them hanging after 3 weeks of inactivity! The word count is barely half of the other chapters!

But I'm so tired...

*NO. At least give them something that's actually canon.

Ugh, fine. Here you go:

*I thought as much. Well, if you've read this far you must be really desperate for new content, huh? Too bad that author won't give you anything else...

*Say... What if I told you... there was a way you could get more content?

(Author, from a distance:) It's called waiting!

*Yes, you could wait for the next chapter. But you could also check out Deltarune Chapter 2!! It's completely free and the humour in that game is pretty similar to how this book is written!

*Who I'm based off of is a real person sure, but in the book, I am literally just lines of quirky text.

*Yep! You better get to writing that damn chapter or else.
