Chapter 2
Phineas POV
I stare after 'Ladybug', debating whether or not I should chase after her. I could probably catch her, although she looked pretty fast. I start after her, getting about 10 feet until suddenly I hear a rustle and groan from around the area I left Ferb in. I turn around and see Ferb trying to stand up. I rush over to him and grab onto his arm to help him up.
I let go of his arm, and he nodded his head. Showing he's thankful.
I frown at him. "How are you feeling? Are you ok?"
He starts to nod his head, before flinching, then he shakes his head two times. I put my arms on his shoulders and drew him in close, hugging him. "I'm sorry" I whispered. I let go of him and backed away 2 feet.
I sit on the ground facing Ferb, trying to put together exactly what had occurred.
Earlier that day

Today started normally... Well as normal as it could be, with me being a vampire and all.
I woke up in a pretty good mood. Nine months ago, I had built a house with Ferb. It has 3 rooms, a reasonably sized kitchen, a bathroom, and a big walk-in closet that I'd modified a few weeks ago. Rather than a door that manually opens, it blends into the wall, and there is a button that I have to press that will open it. The closet is filled with an assortment of all the gadgets that I've made and all new ideas that I've come up with to help my everyday life, or to use for my charity architectural job at "Wendoggo"
It was sunny out today. As a vampire, most people would assume that I would have had to stay inside and eat pancakes. Which I did have to do the first week when I became a vampire.
However, with the help of Ferb, we forged what I call a sun-blocker. It used to be a big brown piece of rock, but Ferb had the great idea to smash the sun-blocker in half and make the pieces look like earrings.
The earring's purpose is to protect my fragile skin. It adds 5 more layers of flesh so that the sun doesn't go right through me. However the added flesh isn't technically skin, so it also adds protection from any other aspects that could harm me.
Right after I woke up, I had gone outside to finish working on the fountain for the 'Treehouse Hotel'. The fountain was 50 feet wide, and 65 feet tall.
I went into the garage to grab the tools that were required to finish the job. "It's so hot today.. luckily me and ferb created these earrings. Pretty soon we'll need to make one for him too" I mumbled to myself as I walked back to the very tall fountain, touching the clips of the tool box and flipping them; allowing the box to open. Still, I can't get my mind off that strange and stubborn girl.. 'Ladybug?' What kind of name was that? She's definitely a weirdo. I shook my head. "Come on Phineas you need to work-" I grit my teeth grumbling to myself, aggressively taking out the tools I needed.
Ladybug POV
ALSO EARLIER THAT DAY

I was running away from that twisted moth.
Cat Noir had left me to go find Alya, my best friend, because she wasn't answering her phone.
I was using my dotted black and red yo-yo to hook onto things so I could pull myself from falling; traveling through air. I don't know how long I had been flying, but I was starting to get tired, and I couldn't see straight, as it was raining.
Then I saw a big white flash of what looked like lightning.
And
Everything
Went
Dark
Phineas's charity architectural job at "Wendoggo" is pronounced when-dog-oh
