"Derek I-" I stop in my tracks and look at him and come back to my senses and run to my closet.
"Alyssa you don't have to hide from me, Its been 17 years seeing you like that"
"Just hold on" I put my clothes on walk back out "Derek"
"Hi Alyssa" He stands up and face me.
I walk up and hug him tight, like it's been eternity since I've seen him and it has.
"Derek" I say as I hug him tightly again and tears began roll down my face.
"Hi Alyssa" he hugs me back and holds my face and wipe my tears. "It's ok, you don't have to cry"
"You know how I get though" I laugh shaky and wipe my face "You know I just miss you and lik-"
"I'm not going anywhere"
"No you have to go back in a bit"
"I'm staying for good because I resigned"

" No Lay, I have enough money to get out great great grandkids straight for life"

"I'm home Lay I'm not going anywhere anymore, home for my kids to at least see Alaia finish all her grades and for Ayla prom and graduation"

He hugs me back and we rock and he kisses my forehead. "I'm just happy to get my family back and my life"
"Yea me too" I smile and pull back. "Did you see the girls though, their more important than me and it's Alaia's birthday and you should be spending it with her not me. I could've saw you downst-"
He cuts me off, "I've see them already and I wished her happy birthday and everything. I just had to see you cause your killing me Lay. I'm just happy to have you in my arms." He says a little sensitive.
He's sensitive like me, a Leo of course.
"Well I'm here always but we have to talk about us but later. It's about our daughter Alaia today. Still have to setup you know. I need to get the cake and sweets and gift bags"
"I'll come with, whatever you need I can help. I have nothing to do but sit here and look pretty" He says jokingly and I smile at him.
"Give me five minutes" I say rushing back into my closet and moments later come back out fully dressed and ready for the party.
"Wow. Alyssa your putting me in over drive, your just wow." He says examining me head to toe.
"Come on" I walk pass him out to the hallway and downstairs to the front room. "Georgie the rentals should be here any minute now so open the door every time it rings"
