Character Speaking: Wakatoshi Ushijima.
Ushijima had just broken up with Toru Oikawa. Claimed to be the best 'Setter' in High School. That was misleading. He wasn't the 'best Setter'. Oikawa had refused to move out of Ushijima's apartment. Unknowingly wasn't to far off from where Shirabu lived. Tendou already knew that but he left that little detail out. More of a 'need to know base'. It only made Ushijima more and more irritated. Ushijima had only found out his feelings for Toru weren't real and a video of Toru kissing 'Iwa-Chan' got linked to him which almost made him relieved to break up. Even if it was 'one time thing'. Knowing fully well how much Iwa feels towards Toru. It will only help their relationship grow if they break up. Right now it's just toxic and overbearing. The male just refuses to be in it. He just found their relationship to be a 'phase' and it's not a reason to blurt out for a break up. That would be insensitive. Toru just hadn't been anymore annoying than now. Ushijima had even considering to move. Just so Oikawa will leave him alone.
About one month ago Ushijima and Tendo decided to play truth or truth! While getting drunk. Tendou was absolutely buzzed. He thought Ushijima was too. The redhead looked over at his High School best friend and whispered "I'vE gOt a SeCrEt..." he paused. Ushijima gasped! "Mm, tell me!" — And just like that Tendou let out Shirabu's secret. From every moment he blush and hid it from Wakatoshi. To the moment he realized he was in love with Wakatoshi. Shirabu decided on his own he was going to be selfish and feel broken-hearted because Ushijima decided it was Oikawa he 'loved'. He didn't realize how much that hurt Shirabu but Tendou picked up the pieces and made sure he was okay— Ushijima just kept picking Oikawa over and over. He also told Ushijima how much he made Shirabu cry and he 'decided' he was going to get over him but then Tendou paused for a second. *SURPRISE!* Tendou accidentally slipping out more of the secret— "He was"; The male whispered. "PrEteNding". — "I bet you didn't realize that he went to some of your games? Hah! I was there too but you just broke his heart. Hmph! Eventually he couldn't take it anymore. He turned it off like it was a switch".
Ushijima couldn't just let that go. He started to think of the times he was there for him. He always made him smile when he was upset. He was his number one Setter. Unnecessary he was salty to everyone but to him. Often did he get him his favorite milk flavor (Banana). 5-6 years ago. He got him his favorite Manga set for a graduation gift. He didn't want it to be in bad condition so he made sure to give it to him alone and at last minute. Shirabu was always putting Ushijima first and he didn't think once of all of the factors nor appreciate what he had.
Bringing the two to where they're now. The tall, beefy male was glancing at the slight salvia left slipping down his lips. It made Ushijima curve his own lips into a slight smile. The two were only seated at a single table. Ushijima could tell by the amount of Wine Shirabu had a slight buzz. He, himself was starting to feel one as well. Which is why he's cutting himself off. He wanted to remember the rest of the night.
