I wake up to my alarm going off. I check the clock. 8:00am. I shot up out of bed and ran down stairs. Then I realised that it is Sunday and school starts tomorrow. I moaned, stupid, stupid.

My names Adela Morgan. My life is horrible. I only have two friend, Hope and Cliff. At my school I am considered to me uncool, lame, but not a nerd. People say I am to dumb to be a nerd, which makes me less cool. Nerds at my school are cooler than me. They're a bunch of... you get the picture at my school. My friends aren't cool either, Hope is the Drama Captain at my school and people think she's a little dramatic and Cliff is a trouble maker. He does childish pranks that 4th graders would think are babyish. However, I still love them.

When I walk into the kitchen my mum, dad and sister are having breakfast. I have a brother too, but he never eats breakfast anymore with us because he is always sleeping of a hangover or trying to figure out away to get some chic out of the house before my parents find out. They think he is studying or doing homework.

I get some cereal and sit down at the table across from my sister Hana.

"I have an announcement." My dad said holding his hands in the air. "We will be having a boy staying at our house for a year or more. He will be going to school with you Adela, since he is in your grade"

"Ha!" my younger sister Hana said laughing at me.

"Why do I have to do it, why can't Tyler do it?" I protested.

"Because your brother is studying for his finals and he can't be distracted. Plus he is a year older than you Del." He answers. I smirk at the mention of Tyler.

"Why is he even staying?" I complain.

"That is what I cannot tell you, and it wasn't a question."

"But it's not fair, I have a so-"

" A social life? Please you being social is walking past a person you vaguely know on the street." My sister cuts me off.

"She's got a point." I turn around and see my brother leaning on the door frame. His brown hair in a mess, his hazel eyes tired. He was wearing a navy blue top and jeans. "You're as social as a bird in winter."

"Shut up! That doesn't even make sense" I retort back.

"Feisty today are we?" he smirked at me. "Is it the time of the month again?"

"Shut up!"

"I think it is."

"Shut u-"

"That is enough you two. Adela be nice to your brother, he has studied all night" my mother says. "What were you studying dear?" she asks looking at my brother.

"A girl" I whisper under my breath so no one can hear. But obviously my brother heard and snarled at me. I smiled back.

Knock

Knock

"I'll get it" I say. I walk over to the door and was expecting to see Cliff wanting to hang out. Instead I was staring at a different boy, probably 17, my age. Looking at me from head to toe with his gorgeous green eyes and curly blond hair. He was wearing a tight shirt that shows off his muscular figure and gives me goose bumps. I look down at his feet and he has two suitcase either side of him and a back pack on his back. He looked so sexy and hot. I was speechless.

"I-I think I've got the wrong house." He said in a husky voice. "Is this 42 Upton Street?"

"Ah, yeah" I took a while to process the hunk at my front door.

"Hi, I'm Angus Frame." He puts out a hand for me to shake.

"Adela Morgan" I say reaching out to shake his hand. His hands are massive compared to mine. When we shake I get a electric shock. I think I might have a heart attack.

"Who is at the doo-" Hana walks over and forgets what to say once she sees Angus.

"Come in honey." My mum says rushing around the corner. "I'll show you to your room." They walk away.

"Is that-"

"Yep" I cut my sister off knowing what she will say, Is that the boy dad was talking about?

"And you-"

"Yep" Get to show him around?

"You lucky thing. Why doesn't dad ever do this for me?"

I laugh. Because you are a complete psych. Why would he trust you to look after a hunk like that.

"It's not funny. You've always been his favourite." It's true. I am dad's favourite. He always gives me the best stuff. Once when Hana, Tyler and I were younger, dad took us out to get ice-cream. The ice-cream parlour we went to only had enough chocolate ice-cream for one person. Of course we all wanted chocolate, and as the 7,6 and 4 years old we were, we begged and begged for that one scoop. I got it.

"Shut up! Hana"

She walks off in a huff.

I guess this will be fun.
