Ah yes the last day of Camp. Golly, it sucks to see the campers leave.

David sat in front of Camp Campbell with a smile.
Max was next to him looking gloomy as ever.

Max looked up at David and asked,

"What if Daniel was still here."

David's smile turned into a nervous smile. He looked down at Max.

"He wont come back Max!"

David said calmly.
Max groaned.

"I know he isnt dimwod. Thats why im asking what IF he was still here."

"Well... um."

David turned to his side. He didn't know how to respond.
He sighed then looked in front of him.

"Maybe... hm."

David was thinking about this one.
Max sighed then looked fowards.

"Whatever, just forget it."

Max groaned. David was still thinking about this.

Why would Max ask such a question?

David thought to himself. Maybe Max had seen Daniel? nonsense, hes in Antarctica!
David quit thinking by a sound of a car pulling up.

Max stepped back then looked at David.
David looked at Max and tilted his head.

"I don't wanna go with them."

"But Max, their you're parents-

"I DONT WANNA GO ASSHOLE."

David remembered the Parents Day incident. He sucked up his courage and walked up to the car.
Max stood behind David like a shy child.

The car door opened, and out came a furious man.
David stepped back a bit paranoid.

The furious man held a knife while walking up to David.
Max was so cautious that he stepped in front of David.

"Put the knife down ya old Gym sock!"

The furious man was rather confused. He gripped onto his knife harder.
David looked down at Max, then Max looked up at David.

"You seriously can't protect yourself idiot? it seems like im the adult here."

David nervously smiled. David pulled Max back.

"Sir, weapons arent aloud at this- CAMP!-"

The furious man put the knife up to David's neck.

"S-Sir, lets talk about this!"

David nervously said waving his hands around.
The man stayed quiet. He looked down at Max.

"This wimp is you're counselor?"

"No duh."

Max says with a growl.
The man's mad face grew bigger.

The man sighed.

"Dont be a smart ass Max. Dont make me get the chord-"

"Hey, thats no way to talk to a kid!"

David smacked the knife down on the ground.
The impact of the hit made the knife shatter into pieces.

"Man dad, you're knife was rusty anyways."

Max says walking next to David.
The man clenched his fists.

"If you know how to take care of a kid, then just keep him."

"W-What? but sir, hes you're kid-"

"Not anymore."

Max slightly frowned. He looked down.
David scratched his neck with a nervous smile.

The man walked away holding up the middle finger.
Seconds later the car drove away.

"Max im... Im so sorry you had to witness that."

"Its cool. I never liked my parents anyways."

Max mumbles with a slight smile.
