The fall of the Sytic Empire saw the complete disintegration of the empire with a large reduction of population. The Capital of the Sytic empire became a dictatorship and started wars to reconquer the lost lands. The city of Andor however recovered in population relatively quickly and the last living oligarch was able to restore some form of power. However, the damages done were too large to fix without any form of income. the first commercial and trade center was constructed to improve the trade and income. The oligarch Poudirc the second was able to unite the surrounding cities by grinding the generals with high levels of power.
This however was not accepted by every city-state and so then when to war
By the year 50 AD, the kingdom of Polax was seen as independent from the northern kingdom of Sytic.
not much is known about this era as the many official records have been destroyed however it was around this time that the great exodus occurred. Many peasants and previous oligarchs left the city to find new lands to restart civilization. Many fled south to the inhospitable desert that was to the south. This desert still unknown to the people at the time was filled with rich iron deposits and they would soon become the infamous city of Delcart.
The city was founded on the coast and the people worked in mines to discover a rich supply of silver, diamonds but most of all iron. Many millions of years ago this part of the continent was deep underwater and had many active volcanoes spewing the molten lava out and it quickly solidified. later tectonic forces lifted to enter the ocean bed up and gave rise the vast Arch Dessert.
With the complete decentralization of the southern states, the north tried to conquer the rest of the empire again but the people were too disunited to fight.
However, the lack of power created a power vacuum allowing thieves and bandits to prosper. The home to the thieves was the city of Delcart where soon to be known as the city whose thieves are robbed.
