You were at work now, a simple job as a cashier at a gas station. You were doing your job as usual when a customer that kept looking at you approached.

❝Is your name (Y/n) (L/n)? ❞James asked smiling polite.

You looked at him trying to guess what he wants from you. He realized he came off as creepy person and gasped a little.

❝Sorry, I don't mean to scare you. Do you know Ethan Caddel? ❞James asked.

You narrow your eyes and put your guard up in case he's trying to harm you.

❝Come on, I won't do anything to you. I just simply want to talk to you. ❞James said looking at you.

❝I don't want anything to do with him, now leave. ❞You say.

❝That's kind of clear since you left and he's desperately searching for you. ❞ James said looking around at the empty store.

❝We work together. My name is James. ❞ James said holding his hand out.

You look at his hand then at him and he lets out a disappointed "ah".

❝I'm not biting you, you know. Anyways, why are you running away from Ethan? ❞James asked leaning over the counter.

You look at him expressionless.

❝Why do you care? ❞You ask irritated. You can't guess what his intentions are, but he is definitely a weird man.

❝I'm curious. If you answer me I'll give you a precious information. ❞James said smiling.

❝Such as?❞You ask.

❝First, answer. ❞ James said grinning cutely which weirded you out.

❝What if you're lying? ❞You ask.

You roll your eyes.

❝I'm not a liar. I will tell you something important if you're going to answer. Tic tac, time is running up.❞ James said tapping his watch.

You felt like the last part was a warning of some sorts.

❝I'm running from him because he is crazy. Satisfied?❞You ask glaring at him.

You sigh annoyed.

❝Can you be more annoying than this? ❞You snap at him.

❝Uh-oh, don't become Ethan now. ❞James said.

You calm yourself down so you won't punch him in the face in front of the security camera.

❝So? Are you two ex-lovers that had a fight of some sorts? ❞ James asked again.

❝Ex-lovers my ass. We hooked up once and he locked me up inside his house after saying things like "i don't want you to ever leave me" "I'll keep you here". ❞ You say hoping he'll be satisfied and leave you alone.
