YEAR TWO, CHAPTER NINE
HELLO SUMMER

The year came to a close and Francesca bid goodbye to all of her friends, it was always hard saying goodbye to Pansy but she knew she'd see her again in a few months.
Francesca's father was waiting for her, Cedric by his side.
"Dad!" Francesca exclaimed, running up to him and giving him a tight hug.
"How was it then?" Amos asked with a grin.
"Amazing, just like last year. Maybe even better," Francesca said.
"I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying Hogwarts. I'm so proud of you Fran," Amos said, holding his daughters hand as they walked away from the train.
"Thanks dad, where's mum?" Francesca smiled, waving goodbye to Draco.
Draco looked away from the girl, looking down at his feet. Francesca furrowed her eyebrows, she wondered if she had done something to upset him.
"She couldn't make it this year, she's been feeling rather unwell these last few weeks," Amos said.
Francesca didn't let it eat away at her, she wanted to enjoy her summer with her family and she did just that.
